It was amazing to meet so many nice and different people from all around the world! The staff that work there and also the other volunteers i worked with where really like a family to me. You get to meet a lot of Porto, wich is a beautiful and lovely city! The work can be a little tiring and overwhelming sometimes, because of the schedule and the hours but you can have a lot of fun at the same time. I recommend this volunteer if you want to practice new languages, if you like socializing and interacting with people ! I have beautiful memories from the time i spent at One fam! Thank you

My time at the hostel was truely one of the most memorable experiences I have had and I couldn't have asked for a better team of volunteers to share the experience with! We had amazing guests, the work and the hours were fair and dinners were great! The location of the hostel was very close to bars, cafes, and also the best lookout in Porto was in walking distance. I felt welcomed as soon I arrived to the hostel and would love to return some day :) if you get the chance to volunteer here, do it!! You won't regret it!

My first volunteering experience in the hostel in Porto was the best one that I could ever ask for. since the first moment I arrived everyone made me feel so welcome and I got along with everyone. the manager, Mel is always open to chat and to discuss changes, she made sure everyone was comfortable in order to get the best experience ever out of everyone and the schedule was exactly as I was expecting it, the working hours were always respected and I had plenty of time to visit portugal.

I had the most amazing, exciting and memorable stay working at the hostel. I really made friends for life with the other volunteers and even some guests. For anyone who is a social butterfly, don't hesitate to volunteer here or at any of the onefams as they are really catered for lots of socialising and fun filled days where you just get to meet so many different types of people. I will always look back on my time in Porto with such a smile and I really can't wait until the next time I get to come back to the hostel. It really is a big family <3. My experience in Porto was my favorite volunteer experience so far! Mel was so welcoming and really cared for me as well as the other staff! The shifts were exactly as described and it felt more like fun than work! I highly recommend this position to anyone interested! I hope to go back one day and work here again! So much love to my Porto family forever!

This was my first volunteer experience and I could not have wished for a better stay! I felt very welcomed right from the start, and the working hours and shifts were as agreed upon and respected. I had an absolute blast with all of the other volunteers and staff. It's an experience that I'll never forget. I already want to go back! Thanks Mel and all of the staff for everything!

My time in the hostel in Porto was absolutely wonderful and incredibly much fun!! I was so happy to be there from the minute I arrived and Mélanie welcomed me very sweet. The hostel is so beautiful, always clean, at a perfect location and most importantly always filled with love and laughter! I met so many fun and inspiring people both staff and guests, which made the experience absolutely amazing! Also did the work not even feel like work most of the time and included lots of fun activities. Thank you to everybody who made my time so unforgettably beautiful!! Lots of love <3

What an incredible experience 🩷 One fam the hostel truly is one fam . I had the most incredible 5 weeks here . The hostel location is perfect, walking distance from everything. The hostel itself is super nice with a very social atmosphere and activities every day so your guaranteed to make good friends and you'll never be bored :) The work is as agreed on and they have the best staff🩷 Couldn't recommend enough, thanks again!

My stay at the hostel was amazing!! The location of the hostel is perfect and the kitchen, common areas etc. are always clean and organized. The working hours were very well respected and the staff was super nice and helpful with any questions or problems. This was literally the best month of my life. The hostel is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. The work doesn't even feel like work most of the time and the manager Mel is such a kind and caring person. In the hostel I met the coolest guest and became really close friends with the volunteers. It definitely felt like having a family there. I would definitely want to come back at one point.
