Mi experiencia en el Albergue de Villahormes fue buena! No es propiamente un el hostel, pero estamos a 25 minutos de la playa y allí se puede rentar el equipo por 15 euros. Me divertí muchísimo con mis roomies, fueron lo máximo. Las tareas no son pesadas así que lo que es trabajo esta bien. La habitación esta bien también, podría mejorarse lo que es comida pero se puede sobrevivir. Lo recomiendo

La experiencia en Villahormes fue totalmente distinta a lo que mostraba el perfil, dejó mucho que desear las instalaciones (baño roto lleno agua) y la cocina era un chatarreo y poco equipada, espacio justo en la nevera, en ese aspecto fue bastante desagradable.. los productos no perecederos brillaban por su ausencia por lo que tenias que gastar mas de lo imprevisto. Los anfitriones son buena gente pero no vi que estuviesen pendientes en aspectos mencionados anteriormente, de hecho habia que ir detras de ellos, es lo mínimo que deberían saber los voluntarixs que vayan a pasar por aqui.

Para empezar he de decir que fue una experiencia inolvidable, tuve la suerte de coincidir con chicas estupendas que me hicieron la estancia mucho más amena y son amistades que me llevo para todo la vida... Dejó mucho que desear, ya que, las instalaciones, como la cocina era un chatarrero, al aire libre donde no invitaba a comer ni a cocinar. Seguidamente,la habitación no estaba en condiciones, ya que, las literas estaban oxidadas y el baño roto. Y sin comentar mucho más, según los propietarios nos ofrecían productos no perecederos, pero solo tenían con arroz,pastas,lentejas y judías. Gracias.

Overall, I had a good experience. The shifts/tasks varied each shift, no day ever felt the same - from cleaning rooms, gardening, reception and dishes for the restaurant. The location is good for exploring local beaches and towns by foot. Some public transport available. I would recommend bringing some basic snacks with you. The food provided was good and filling. The wifi isn't always reliable for working remotely, however it works well in the mornings. Thank you Enrique & Kelly.

I had a great experience was a nice escape from the busy life into nature. Enrique & Kelly are lovely hosts and made me feel very welcome from the day I arrived. It is a very relaxed lifestyle in Spain, you quickly learn to adapt to the rural lifestyle. The work was very fair from painting, playing sports with the boys, cleaning rooms and working reception. The surrounding scenery is amazing with several beaches, neighboring towns and mountain trails a medium walk away. Some tips for other travelers bring cash, 2 towels and snacks since nearest supermarket is a 45 minute walk.

Estou sem palavras! Enrique e Kelly são pessoas maravilhosas, muito gentis e sempre se atentam de como estão indo as coisas e se você precisa de algo. O trabalho em si é bem tranquilo, revezamos entre os voluntários e temos bastante tempo livre para conhecer as praias locais. Tony e Sebastian são os melhores cozinheiros e os piores jogadores de uno. Um abraço enorme para todos vocês 💘

I had an amazing time. As I always say, it's the people that make the journey truly beautiful, and as usual, I met extraordinary souls 🫶🏻. The host, Kelly, is amazing and so sweet. The work was easy (it was during the prep for the opening season). Just so you know, the nearest beach is a 20-minute walk through fields with cows, it's truly beautiful. With the train, you can travel to nearby cities and enjoy the Basque Country. Thank you again, Kelly, for the opportunity 🫶🏻.

It was a very nice experience to reconnect with nature because the place is surrounded by beautiful beaches and mountains. The hosts Enrique and Kelly and their family are amazing people who literally welcomed us in their home, we used to have meals all together and share our thoughts. While I was there the bar was not open yet so the work to do wasn't much. Just be aware that there is no grocery store in the village, and also the surf that was mentioned is not included. I'll be forever grateful to this amazing family for all they've done for us and to have met such wonderful volunteers!🥰

The family was amazing at recommending things to do in Villahormes — from beaches and hikes to cycling and surfing. The natural surroundings are absolutely stunning, and there's a real sense of community here. I especially recommend trying the surfing — 100% worth it! This family's work ethic is truly inspiring. Their children are so sweet, and it was a pleasure to spend time teaching them. On my last day, I completely missed my transport to Seville, and Enrique went above and beyond to help me. I'm incredibly grateful. I'll really miss Villahormes and hope I have the chance to return!

Com muito gosto e gratidão que passei 2 semanas com esta família incrível🥰 O trabalho era bastante simples, como a cozinha do hostel ainda não estava aberta as tarefas passavam muito por organização, limpeza dos espaços e check-in dos peregrinos A natureza à volta é surreal, a mistura do oceano com as montanhas fazem o lugar ainda mais mágico💖 A Kelly e o Henrique são pessoas amorosas e receberam-nos como família❤️ A equipa de voluntários era incrível, conheci pessoas maravilhosas e no tempo livre exploramos outas cidades no norte Espanha Muito muito obrigada por esta experiência🫶
