It was a really nice place, and the work shifts let you visit Rome a lot. the only long shift is the night shift, but it passes quickly. I had a really good time.

O café da manhã, os €25 do jantar, localização e colchões são bons, mas o hostel tem ratos e insetos, e em uma reunião o diretor achou de bom tom dizer que agora teríamos uma tarefa extra que seria faxinar no mínimo o banheiro porque ele não irá enviar limpeza para nosso quarto. Nós trocamos de quarto com frequência, e quem faz a recepção noturna dorme picado por causa do checkin/checkout e perde o tempo que seria livre dormindo, os recepcionistas a tarde te pedem ajuda extra(até te ligam) já limpei quarto inundado, troquei roupas de cama e limpei quartos sujos aleatórios no meu tempo livre...

Giulia! You have even adapted your timetable to suit your work, you have asked to stay longer than scheduled. The cleaning of their room is done by you because they don't leave the bedroom and they have a life inside the bathroom that is practically impossible to clean in depth.
Since we have suspended your Brazilian partner (because of her lack of work skills) you have stopped liking everything! Good luck, I hope you will do your best.

If you're looking for a place to have a good time, this is not the place for you. My experience was frustrating, despite the good reviews. The hostel is cheap, but it lacks basics like lockers, personal sockets, and proper bed separation. There's no breakfast or dinner, just €25 per day for 10 volunteers. We had a miss understanding and Fabrizio and Marco did not listened me being rude and disrespectful, giving me last than 24h hours to leave without support, even though I was sick and alone in a foreign country. Maybe I was just not lucky enough, but I really hope you could choose better.

Hello Victoria! I really didn't expect your review. Because I would not have liked to answer you, as it would not be good for your next experiences. But here we go...
You forgot to mention that we decided to end your volunteering on your own merit. Since your second shift you arrived 1 hour late, drunk, and accompanied by a person from outside the hostel in an expensive way.
Nobody left you in the street, you were even here 5 days after we had decided to end the volunteering.

I have no words to describe what this hostel meant to me. Amazing people, the best location and an experience that you will never forget. Sometimes working long hours, but the tasks are easy and definitely worth it for all the fun you will have and the things you get back. I cannot wait to go back and see all of them again!

Localização excelente, hostel amplo, confortável, quarto confortável, café da manhã excelente e temos 25€ por dia para comprar comida para todos. MAS! Trabalhava 8 horas, na recepção, à noite, em dias consecutivos e sem nenhuma informação digna para realizar o trabalho. infelizmente ouvi grosseria de um dos gerentes. Terrível. Me senti num emprego formal, com gente desanimada e cansada. Presenciei falta de comunicação, acolhimento e comprometimento. Eu não recomendo esse voluntariado neste momento. Primeiro, precisam saber receber o voluntário e instruí-lo com dignidade e não sobrecarregá-lo.

Hello Iury! Sorry to read that review from you. We know it was not good, even your communication with the rest of your colleagues was not the best and you know it.
Maybe your idea of coming to Rome were different and did not coordinate with the responsibility of being in front of a breakfast or a reception.
Your cordiality with the guests was not the best, and your lack of respect with the staff coordinating the activities was not correct. If for you it was a minor thing, not even greeting on arrival with a simple good morning, for us it is not a minor thing!
Regarding working hours, we never exceed the maximum weekly working hours, as they do not exceed 28 hours. They were only exceeded by your colleagues last week, as you left your commitment to us from one day to the next, leaving your shifts to chance and putting your colleagues to cover your shifts.

First of all, just to describe how good the hostel is to live, work and socialize, I preferred being there with the staff and having my daily routine, rather than with my family, and I love them very much. When I left the boarding school I was studying at, I thought I would never again feel that sense of living with interesting people who were genuinely nice to me. Remember these names: Fabrizio, Justino, Kat and Lorenzo, they'll be the best bosses and coworkers you'll ever have. the hostel, that's for sure not the only time I've been there.

Foi uma experiência diferente, porém muito boa! Poder estar em um dos melhores bairros de Roma, só a 30min de uma das maravilhas do mundo e de vários monumentos incríveis, foi de tirar o fôlego! O turno da noite é um pouco cansativo, mas nada que tenha sido diferente do que foi passado em relação a vaga. As horas não são distribuídas igualmente todos os dias, porém não vi problema nisso, não excedem as 32h combinas, então foi tranquilo. Fiz ótimas amizades que vou levar para vida! Pude conhecer outras cidades em meus dias livres também, o que foi ótimo. Super recomendo🫶🏻

My experience was very good!! I really felt happy to have lived this experience, the hostel is well located in the heart of Rome. The entire hostel's own team and volunteers are wonderful people! As for the work itself, it's very quiet, without many difficulties!!
