Unfortunately my experience at the hostel was really disappointing. Here's why: - Imbalance in labour done and what you receive: More work than I've seen from volunteers at hostels around LATAM. As we were being 'paid' in food and accommodations, I was rather disappointed in the very low quality of both of these. Rest required in free time. - Less than basic level of respect from staff: Staff treats volunteers as disposable as we are temporary (Angela, Johan, owners, etc.). No remorse. No communication. - Highly disorganized: Not even a work schedule. - Food poisoning

I loved the staff and other volunteers at this hostel and they really made my time there! The hosts are pretty chill and easy to work with and I did feel appreciated. It's such a nice location to be in and it's easy to go and see other places after work if you have a morning shift! There could be improvements on the food given to staff especially as we are being paid in food, sometimes it wasn't that nutritious or filling (Especially if veggie). The volunteer dorms are very basic and could be improved also but sometimes you randomly got to sleep in a private room which was a nice change.

Great place to stay. The staff is lovely and the views are amazing. The temperature in the hostel is great and there are loads of waterfalls nearby you can explore. The work is mostly as a server in the kitchen, which is a bit more work than I expected when there are a lot guests. But overall I had a great time there with amazing people.

I had such a great volunteer experience at the hostel! Everyone that works there is great and the tasks are easy and fun. I definitely recommend it.

My time at the hostel was really lovely. Everyone from the cooks to the volunteer manager Alba were super friendly and always there for any questions. The food was really tasty and plentiful. I really loved working at the bar. I also worked in the kitchen washing dishes and taking orders with the very funny cooks. The volunteer's quarters were nice although they got a bit cramped. There are plenty of things to do in your time off. Chilling in the beautiful hostel, checking out Pozo Encantada and Quebrada Valencia, the hostel ofc! and other day trips. I can't say enough good things about the hostel! The owners Paul and Yaël are a blast, I worked closely with Amanda, Alba and Angela during my time there and feel lucky to be able to call them all friends I would go back for now. The work was a lot sometimes due to the volume of guests but it was mostly easy tasks and the time passed quickly. The property is mind blowing, it is easily the most beautiful place you will ever get to temporarily call home. Bonus points for Brisa and Jupi, the hostel dogs and loves of my life.

I had an amazing time staying at the hostel! The place is so beautiful and the team has a great vibe. The two hosts are more than lovely and the rest of the team is super helpful. I had the chance to connect with amazing guests and visit an incredible area filled with nature parks, beaches and more. Truly recommend spending time there in this jungle paradise.

I loooved staying at the hostel! The owners are so lovely and fun, all the staff, the other volunteers and the guests. And not to mention that you get to live in literal paradise during your time. I really felt like I was part of a little family when I was there so would for sure reccomend to anyone else!

I spent two weeks at the hostel and had an incredible time. The location and atmosphere are unmatched and the staff are very welcoming. There are also plenty of hikes and fun spots to discover nearby! Would recommend!
