The hostel is beautiful right in the middle of nature. The staff is really nice, and you get to practice your Spanish with them, as well speaking English. The guests were also very nice, in all ages. The work consisted of bartending, and kitchen work. The bar was nice since I like speaking to costumers, and the kitchen was great for practicing my Spanish. On your days off there is plenty to do around the area. Overall my experience was great and I would definetely recommend it!

My experience volunteering at the Valley was very rewarding. The staff and management are truly focused on making me feel welcomed and cared for. They were constantly asking if my needs were met. The hours of work were fair, in fact most of the time I only taught two classes of yoga per day and that was it, only in a few occasions I was asked to help in the kitchen or bbq.. I was able to interact with locals, other volunteers & guests from around the world. During my time there I was able to learn nombre about my self and how I relate to others. I feel grateful for the experience.

The Valley is such an amazing hostel and I had a great time volunteering here!! The location is super unique with beautiful views, it feels secluded without being too far, and it is close to things to do like Tayrona park, Palomino, and several beaches. The pool is great too! The food here was absolutely incredible. Even with a language barrier the permanent staff are very friendly, helpful, and fun to work with. I definitely improved my Spanish a bit. Sometimes 30 hours a week felt like too much as we could be sitting around for half the shift but it was super chill. Great experience!!!

We really enjoyed the Valley Hostel! Such a great place to meet travellers and practice Spanish with the staff! The tasks were simple and even fun! Everyone was friendly and the facilities were great. Sometimes the power and water would cut out but never for more than a few hours. Overall a great stay!

I had the most amazing time at the valley hostel and could not recommend it more to other people travelling around the Tayrona Park. From the amazing kitchen staff (shoutout to Yulieth) to the amazing vibes of the hostel, it really could not get better. And of course the experience would have not been the same without Alba. Missing it so much already.

I had a lovely time volunteering at the Valley!! Everyone was so welcoming and I felt very comfortable and at home from the beginning. The staff are really friendly, and Alba is great!! She is always there for you if you need her! I went with a friend and she always tried to give us time off together which we greatly appreciated. My time there went so quickly, and we were honestly sad to leave. I would highly recommend joining the team at the Valley if you get the chance. <3

I loved volunteering at The Valley, 100% recommended ❤️ Place is amazing, beautiful nature, great facilities, amazing vegetarian food and the best people. I volunteered as a yoga teacher which I really enjoyed, I had 2 classes day and if needed, I also helped in the kitchen or bar. Hostel if quite busy so you will find new friends if you want to.. and if you don't, there is always some place where you can just relax by yourself :)) there is so many things to do around - visiting waterfalls, Minca (where you can stay for free), Palomino, Tayrona.. thank you 🫶🏻

This jas been a wonderful experience. I would recommend it 100% if you love the nature, to stay in a very social environment and to meet 24/7 people from all around the world. Everyone who works here is such a nice person and would let you feel as you're one of them. Also you get to meet volunteers and enjoy a lot the time with them! Loved it

I spent two weeks volunteering at the hostel and had an amazing and immersive experience. Everyone was super welcoming and made me feel part of the team. The hostel's vibe is really social and relaxed. I worked bartending and in the kitchen with 6-hour shifts and two days off weekly, which gave me plenty of time to relax and explore. It was a great chance to meet new people and improve my Spanish. Huge thanks to Alba and Laura for being so supportive—they really made my stay better. I highly recommend volunteering here! ❤️

Volunteering at the hostel was such an amazing experience. The work and hours were fair, and I had plenty of time to enjoy the area around the hostel. The staff were the best part — so friendly and welcoming. Huge shoutout to Alba and Laura for being absolutely wonderful and making me feel right at home. It was also a great place to practice Spanish and connect with amazing people. I made so many good memories here and honestly wish I could've stayed longer. Thanks for everything! :)
