Nous avons vécu une superbe expérience avec mon ami Max! Le personnel a été extrêmement chaleureux, nous accueillant et nous intégrant parfaitement malgré la barrière de la langue. Une immersion unique en pleine jungle et une belle découverte des environs.
Un immense merci aux ouvriers présents chaque jour, à l’équipe de la réception, du bar, et tout particulièrement à l’équipe de cuisine!
Le seul point négatif concerne le propriétaire, qui semble accorder davantage d’importance aux aspects financiers qu’à la considération et au bien-être d’un personnel pourtant remarquable de son travail.

The hostel is beautiful right in the middle of nature. The staff is really nice, and you get to practice your Spanish with them, as well speaking English. The guests were also very nice, in all ages. The work consisted of bartending, and kitchen work. The bar was nice since I like speaking to costumers, and the kitchen was great for practicing my Spanish. On your days off there is plenty to do around the area. Overall my experience was great and I would definetely recommend it!

Dos semanas que pasaron muy rápido. El hotel es conexión con la naturaleza, las condiciones del voluntariado están muy bien (comidas vegetarianas, piscina, turnos, etc.) pero sin duda, lo mejor de the valley es el equipo de trabajadores que tienen (el bar, los de construcción y mantenimiento, cocina y recepción). Son cercanos, amables y siempre dispuestos a trabajar con buen humor y ganas.

Una experiencia inmersiva maravillosa en la naturaleza!Estuvimos dos semanas en el hostel y fue genial.El trabajo fue variado,la primera semana estuvimos en diferentes turnos ayudando con el staff de cocina y bar,aprendimos mucho y fue ameno.La segunda semana estaban de renovación y ayudamos a barnizar diferentes espacios.Las comidas todas deliciosas y variadas,con proteína vegetal!Todo el personal es amable y atento,gracias a Laura,Alba,Yael,Paul,Yair,Héctor,Karima,Ricardo, Verónica,Liss y todo el equipo.Gran experiencia de voluntariado,con incluso noche gratis en otro hostel asociado.THANKS!

I came back to this hostel after an AMAZING experience last year, but the energy completely changed😢The owner agreed I’d be at the bar, but the volunteer manager had different expectations.
Quite the contrast from extending to almost 3 months last year, this marks the first place i left early by 4 days😌(they didn’t update my dates on here to be what we agreed on WhatsApp)
Not ideal if you’re looking to grow or learn but you do get 3x veggie meals a day & a bed, good if you just want to save during your trip :)
