I went back to the farm Islandics for the third time in six months and I think that tells more than enough. I was warmly welcomed with smiles and hugs by the family. And as expected, I had such a great time with the family, the animals and my coworkers once again. We went to see even more beautiful places in Ireland (they are never ending) and experienced events that I wouldn't have experienced without them, such as Kingfisher's concert and a part of a real Irish wedding. I'm truly thankful for all the unforgettable memories for the family <3 I'll be back soon!

During my two and a half months stay at the farm, I could not only learn a lot about the animals and how to take care of them, but also about Ireland, self-confidence, stepping out of my comfort zone, and the impact of working in nature on body and soul. There is always something happening, it never gets boring, and you always have something to laugh about. It's fun to spend time with the family, and they really want you to have the best time. I developed so much during this stay and would recommend everyone to take this chance too.

Katia and her family are truly wonderful people, and their relationships are built on sincerity and openness. They do everything they can to make you feel welcome and at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves animals, enjoys the countryside and wants to learn what farm work is really like. I never had farm or horse experience before and is not a problem! They were really patient and supportive while I was learning this new tasks. During your stay you will be definitely a part of the family and is a lot of fun. I'm really grateful to Katia and here family for this experience!

My stay at the farm was such a great experience. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and easy to be around, it truly is a home away from home. From dinners in front of the tv, going on trips to the most stunning beaches and going on hacks. There is always something going on so you never get bored. The work is physical but fun, and you get to spend all your time with animals, which makes it totally worth it. I've learned so much about horses and how to take care of all the animals. I'm so thankful for my time here and I 100% recommend this experience!

I loved my third stay at the Barley jill the farm. The horses, the food, the game nights, the trips - everything was just amazing. We had a storm over over weekend and the family made sure to tell us everything that we needed to know in order for us to be prepared. The work was still tiring at times, but with the right company it's always a good time regardless. Even tho I've been there a few times now, the family always makes an effort to bring me to new, stunning places. It definitely never gets boring, there is always someone around to talk to and have a great time with! See you soon:)
