Yuli and her family are the most caring people, they make you feel at home and as part of the family! The village is small and you will be famous during your stay there, everyone is eager to know you and the students are willing to learn and interact. It has been an absolute pleasure to spend time with everybody in the village, this experience broadened my mind and helped me grow as a person and as an English teacher, because I had the chance to talk to several English teachers there. This experience and the people I have met will be forever in my heart, thank you Yuli so much for everything!!

Antonela is a great teacher and very energetic. She always comes up with brilliant idea to make the students speaks. She attracted the students interest to talk to her. Even one of the students who never spoke English before, because her she is now having the bravery to speak. My whole family hoped that she could stay longer with us, because a week is really short. Thank you Antonela for choosing my village and my house to be your destination. We do hope to see you again next time. Love - Yuli

This was the most amazing experience! Yuli and her family were so welcoming and kind. We felt as though we were part of the family and made meaningful connections! We were fully immersed in the local life therefore we learnt lots about Indonesian culture. The family would kindly take us to see lots of different places within the area, such as climbing Mount Ijen which was beautiful. The kids were so sweet and kept us entertained throughout our stay. I recommend this experience to everyone and I will never forget it! Thank you Yuli

I would recommend this experience to everyone! This was my first Worldpackers experience, and it was amazing. Yuli and her entire family are so lovely and welcoming, we felt like family. All of the kids were so friendly and funny - I already miss them an incredible amount! I felt truly embraced by Yuli's family who were so kind to us during our stay. Yuli and her family catered to our dietary requirements and cooked us so much amazing traditional food! If you are looking for an experience of local life, this is definitely the one for you!

Yuli and her family are just amazing. Loveliest people ever, so kind and generous I have no words to say how grateful I feel for being there with them. The village is a very cute and small one, people are also very nice. You are indeed a celebrity when being there hahaha. Yuli took me to some schools of the village and it was very nice to meet the kids, and cook with them. I would recommend this experience with no doubt. You will also eat delicious food, and feel at home. I will come back very soon! Terima Kasih! 🫂💗💗

My stay here was an amazing learning experience, and something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. You really get to immerse in the local culture! We got food 3 times a day - and had so much fun with the kids in the village, they are really willing to learn. You will be treated like a superstar here, and have al lot of pictures taken. Yuli is amazing and caring, but we did have a hard time understanding what our job was at times and kind of just hang around- It was one of the most beautiful places I have been. The room is humid… and simple, but overall an amazing experience

I recommend this experience, you will live in a typical Indonesian family full of kindness. You will meet Yuli and her son Rafa, accompanied by these parents and his brother's family. About every evenings you will teach English to children, who are curious, motivated, and very smiling. And on weekdays, you will go to school where Yuli teaches, the teachers are really nice. I spent very goods times with these teachers ! It's an agricultural school where you will discover and learn about agricultural methods, cooking (I ate very well😜), etc ! Very rewarding experience ! Thanks Yuli !

I had a really good experience there! Yuli and her family made me feel really comfortable and part of the family. They will take you to a nice places and will show you the local culture. They also provide food and coffee all the time. I have teaching in different environments such as private and public schools and at the village as well. You will become friend of the teachers, a superstar for the locals and the kids will love you! It's a good opportunity to immerse yourself in the local life and meet nice people.

Yuli opened her home to me and has truly welcomed me as part of her family. She will show you local culture specific to your interests, and new things so you have a full experience. This place was surrounded by the most amazing nature, rice fields and mountains! So beautiful and we could always borrow the scooter to explore the villages and surroundings - loved that! Yuli and the rest of the family were very welcoming and sweet! I thought I was supposed to go to the same school and class everyday, I must say it was more a cultural exchange rather than being a teacher at a school. But I did learn a lot and it was interesting! The room could've been better, it was a bit humid for my stuff. But over and all, very giving experience
