I had an amazing Time there! I met great people and as first volunteering that was great ! But it's not a hostel, that is a hotel with shared bedrooms, so the vibe is different. Also, it's little bit far from the city center but transportations are great so that was okay! Amalia has a special vibe but the rest of the staff is great, I loved them ! you can also ask to change your shift if needed, and the tasks are not that hard. Beautiful experience, I'll never forget it ! ❤️

I really had a great time in Copenhagen, mostly of the friends I met there. I felt really lucky for my roomates. I felt like the hostel was dirty and at first they didn't allow the cleaning staff to clean the volunteers' room. Also sometimes I felt like as volunteers we were working more than we should. The schedule was respected and flexible, so that was nice. Another thing I didn't appreciate is that the manager didn't allow the buffet to be restocked for the staff and volunteers. She was very stingy. Finally i want to thank Modrick and Daniel for being so helpful

My second time here and sadly it has not improved. The environment is NOT welcoming at all. The host hotel manager (Amailia) sadly does not care/has any interest in the volunteer group. Karin is a sweet heart but even she cant keep the experience positive enough to enjoy ( she's not a manager just a full time employee ) No proper training, you get thrown and learn on your own through trail and error. Most staff does not have time or patience to teach ( the managers should doing it! ) World packers shouldnt be treated as actual workers but support help. They dont deserve the WP program at all

Overall it was a good experience. Karin is very nice and always willing to do shift changes if you need particular days off. The room is big and has two bathrooms. I got along very well with the volunteers and I really had a good time. For half of my stay we also had free dinner, which is definitely a plus. The work itself isn't difficult, but often we were asked to clean things that I don't think it was our duty to clean, such as the floor with the sponge or the trash cans and the walls around on all floors. In spite of this the workers are very nice.

My stay in the hostel was very pleasant. The tasks and amount of work hours can make it feel like a job, however, I met amazing people that made my experience much better :) Would overall recommend it!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. The work felt more like a job, but it was manageable - the tasks were general and easy to learn. The staff was very friendly and helpful; you could always ask for assistance. Our room was comfortable, though not always clean. The schedule was fair, with reasonable hours and respected time off, leaving plenty of time to explore the city. Other volunteers were nice and welcoming. We also had dinners for most of my stay, which was a great bonus. Overall, I'd recommend this place!

For my first Worldpackers, it was a good experience. Work rotates between the kitchen and reception. It's fairly standard but sometimes demanding tasks, plus a few odd cleaning jobs! Most staff were friendly, took the time to get to know me, and offered support during shifts (shoutout to Raquel and Larisa!). With 7 volunteers during my stay, making friends and exploring Copenhagen on days off was easy. Karin managed the schedule well, allowing flexibility if I needed specific days off or if we wanted to plan activities together. Our room was comfortable, though housekeeping could be better.

The hostel is a Hotel that have shared dorms, but isnt a hostel. Guests are families, workers.. Some staff were very helpful, other not much. I guess they also don't get a proper training, so they don't know how to deal with volunteers. My advice is to have a person to welcome the volunteers and explain the main stuff. I got lucky, my first shift was w/ other volunteer who walked me through the tasks. For me this should be about meeting new people/culture but sometimes I felt like a worker who was there to do what they dont like. Accommodation is nice. Mudrike and Jirka were great! Any doubts msg me

My first volunteer experience with Worldpackers. Not a typical Volunteer experience. Its more like you are a waiter for the hostel which feels more like a huge low budget hotel. 750 beds here. If you have done waitering, thats basicly the tasks. Assistant of the reception. One strange experience was how differently you were treated all the time. Suddenly like a "worker" in the next minute like a guest. Hard to feel any part of the team, when there are no teamspirit in the workers. Big thanks to Karin and Moudrie in the kithen for trying to keep the teamspirit up. They both is kind and great

If you are looking for a place to stay in Copenaghe the rooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. But about the working experience Im very disappointed. The staff that works here has the worst energy I ever see. I stayed here for 3 months and a half, the manager Amalia never ever said good morning, in 24 days! Super bad vibes every day. I only connected with Karin a girl from Slovakia really nice. Also the volunteers I meet were very cool.
