Working hours were respected, good environment and lots of time to explore the city. This hostel isnt like others, it is more like a hotel but you can still meet lots of people. Most staff members were incredibly welcoming and made shifts better, daniel, paiva, margarida, moudrike, karina and Larissa were some examples of the amazing staff members

The hostel was a great experience! The work was not hard . Hours sometimes feel long but I just recommend bringing comfy shoes. The group of volunteers were nice and the city is walkable , not far from the train station! :) recommend if you want to see Copenhagen

Staying at the hostel it was a great experience! Shifts and hours were respected so 4 days off every week is perfect if you want to visit the city. Managers and workers help to you in whatever you need. I recommend this place a 100%, thanks!! 😜

Definitely it is a good option if you want to visit Copenhagen with more time. The job can be sometimes a bit demanding, so it's a thing that you need to have into account before going there. Apart from this, the 4 days off were respected. You can always ask Karin for any change in the schedule if you wish. They are flexible with that, so they never have any problems to adjust your requirements, as long as you mention it with time. Thank you so much for this experience! 😉

This volunteer opportunity was a great way to experience the beautiful city of Copenhagen. The volunteer experience is okay. The staff are nice and the work isn't too bad but compared to other experiences, you're treated as an unpaid employee, not a volunteer. This is a corporate owned hostel focused on families and freelancers so if you're looking for an unforgettable travellers experience. This is not it. Thank you to the volunteer manager Antonella for all of your help and assistance during our stay at the hostel you did a great job coordinating the volunteers :)

This is a good option if you want to stay in Copenhagen for free while exploring the city. Tasks are similar to paid staff and the standard expected is the same, so it feels more like unpaid work than volunteering. However, the team is kind and respectful — especially Antonella, the volunteer coordinator, who is truly lovely and helpful. Breakfast is available after guests eat, and volunteers share one room (cleaned by themselves). I learned practical skills, but the real value came from my time outside the hostel. Thank you, Antonella! <3

Lovely experience! The worker and volunteers were all super friendly and welcoming. The work is 3x8 hr shifts so that gives you a solid 4 days of being able to explore the city and surrounding areas which is super nice. What really made the experience so wonderful were the other volunteers, I was super lucky, and was there with a great group of people.

The team treats volunteers as equals, and I was lucky with my roommates. I liked that the volunteer dorm had its own fridge. Live music on weekends created bonding opportunities. Breakfast is served daily, sometimes also dinner, but better planning would help. The 3 long shifts/week allow 4 days off to explore. The hostel isn't very central; a bike subscription helps. I'd prefer gender-separated rooms and better communication when new volunteers arrive. Shifts can be uneventful, rooms not always clean, and volunteers carry too much responsibility (teaching new volunteers or „real workers“)

Although the workload was sometimes heavy and I had to speak directly with the manager to set some boundaries, I met people with truly beautiful hearts. I found interesting workliving with volunteers from all kinds of backgrounds and ages. They taught me how to stop being such a grandma! I even left with my first tattoo♥️ Michael o' leary will be proud of this company and that is a shame! So l wish all the good workers the best. Bon courage, guys! 💪 Today, I can say that I have a house and a job in CPH thanks to those who encouraged and help me during my stay🥰 Thank you, Irayda

Great things about the hostel: The schedule is very well respected (sometimes you can even finish earlier). The group of volunteers I was with was amazing. The hotel staff are super friendly and fun—they help you with everything. And you have a lot of free time to explore the city. Negative/room-for-improvement things: Volunteers work just as much as the paid staff (sometimes even more). The people in charge don't seem to value that help at all. They can be quite stingy—e.g., they don't restock food or refuse to clean the volunteers' room. The kitchen available is too small and always dirty.
