Mi experiencia en el alojamiento fue muy buena. Los dueños Woody y Danielle, los gerentes Rulo e Irina, y todo el staff son 10/10. Las tareas en la cocina son simples y fue genial aprender nuevas recetas. Lo único negativo de la experiencia fue que las instalaciones de los voluntarios (habitaciones, baño, cocina) no están en muy buen estado, y que el lugar es poco accesible (es necesario tomar un taxi de 15 dolares o un bus que no pasa muy seguido para ir al centro).

Fue una experiencia fantástica, con una cálida acogida, un excelente ambiente de trabajo bien organizado , unos deliciosos momentos compartidos con otros voluntarios. Me encantó trabajar con Irina, Rulo, Dayana y Mathieu. El alojamiento para los voluntarios es cómodo y tiene todo lo necesario . El jardín encantador la playa soleada, la observación de vida silvestre hicieron esta estadía muy agradable. Aprendí a cocinar algunas cosas y Rulo me enseñó a no estresarme cuando todos los pedidos de los clientes llegaban al mismo tiempo: una experiencia que necesitaba. Estoy muy agradecida.

We had a really nice time at the lodge. It's a beautiful place where you can see some sloths, monkeys or the toucan Rio. Most of the time we helped with cooking and baking. It's also a nice place to upgrade your Spanish a bit :) One of the managers also took us the some places in town, and making us feel welcome! I do recommend renting a scooter since the place is far out of town and taxis are expensive. It gives you more freedom to go to the town/beaches. Thank you for this experience!

Being on the island was peaceful and grounding. The work was mostly independent—painting, keeping busy, and soaking in the quiet surroundings. It's a good opportunity if you're looking for a calm, nature-filled environment. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys solitude and simple living.

I had a great stay at the lodge. The managers and owners are super welcoming and helpful and good fun to work with. I did a mix of helping in the kitchen and painting the rooms, and the hours agreed on are respected. The volunteer house is nice, although could do with a bit of work, it's just really great having a whole house to share with the other volunteers. Just be mindful that you're far from the main town ! Although having the beach so close is worth it. I'd really recommend this work exchange and had a fantastic time :)

I had a great experience at the lodge. The work was as described and the hours were always respected. If you wanted to change your free day it was no problem. The owners and managers were very nice and helpful. You could always talk to them about anything. Rulo would also go to town with us and show us local culture and even went see a leatherback turtle lay eggs. My highlight of the whole stay. In general I would really recommend to stay here if you wanted to see wildlife. I saw monkeys, sloths, the hotel tucan Rio, mantas and even a shark while snorkelling at the property

I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge. The people were nice and the place is stunning! You're surrounded by nature and they even have a private beach. Also the working hours were well respected and the tasks were as previously agreed. Unfortunately I had to leave earlier, but if I would've had more time, I definitely stayed longer! Thank you for the experience!

My experience at the lodge was absolutely amazing. I felt very welcomed by everybody, learned a lot and had lots of fun. The work was quite easy and the hours were fair. A challenging aspect could be the distance from town but you can easily take a bike, bus or taxi. All in all I would recommend this to everyone you likes a mix between a quiet place, beautiful nature and fun island life… you might never want to go back(: You can also talk to the warmhearted indigenous people that work there and learn about their ways of living. I'll definitely come back to my new home across the world!
