As the first experince as a worldpacker it was amazing. I really enjoyed the nature and calmness of the place. Also there are many interesting places you can visit in nearby cities. The work wasn't that hard and I liked all of the work that I did. Mike and Eleonora were welcoming and really nice people, thank you for hosting me 😊

I had a wonderful time in Auressio. It's a good deal with only 10 hours of work / week + you get your own private room (be prepared to help with various tasks even outside of your work hours though). I did mostly painting, which was enjoyable. A little bit more organization would make the work smoother, but all in all the work was good. You will live in a very small village surrounded by amazing nature and many hikingtrails. The room is comfortable. The free public transport ticket is great, you have the chance to explore all of ticino for free. Thank you Eleonora and Mike for hosting me!

Incredible time staying in Auressio. The access to hiking trails, climbing, and pristine rivers was of particular appreciation. Mike and Eleonora were incredible hosts and made sure we had access to all the needed amenities, cultural hubs nearby, and the best hiking and swimming in Ticino! I was given a transportation and able to travel a lot of Geneva! Thanks Elle & Mike!

I had an amazing time volunteering here. Mike and Eleonora are really nice hosts and the tasks (gardening and painting mostly) were enjoyable and easy. Also, I had enough time left to explore around 4 incredible valleys. There and many cool places where you can swim and hike so if you like nature this is the right place for you. The hostel is located in a fairy tale village, Auressio, but the public bus does not go between Locarno to Auressio too often, so when you arrive the first day make sure not to miss it! I would definetely would have stayed longer if I could :)

I had an absolutely incredible time. I loved being able to live in Auressio, it is a beautiful peaceful village located in a valley filled with hiking trails and swimming spots. Mike and Elenora were very kind and friendly hosts. The tasks were enjoyable, I enjoyed being able to be outside.

I highly recommend volunteering at the home. The host (Mike) is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure that you feel comfortable. All necessary tools, such as those for cutting trees, are provided to ensure a smooth volunteering experience. If you're passionate about immersing yourself in nature, this place is a must-visit. The setting itself is breathtaking, offering a unique opportunity to connect with the natural world in a meaningful way.

This space is absolutely stunning and peaceful. Mike and Eleanora are warm, respectful and wonderful to be around. I personally found the work enjoyable and therapeutic. The place is very efficiently connected by public transport and there is so much of the local culture and landscape to explore. Thank you so much for having me.

It was a very pleasant experience, I learned new things that I did not know before. Mike was a great host, friendly and cordial. the tasks were quite simple (gardening, painting, organization) things that I really like and enjoy. The room is very comfortable, the landscape and views are unbeatable, the weather is wonderful. For anyone who loves to enjoy nature in its splendor will enjoy this place. My work exchange here was absolutely incredible. I am so grateful to Mike and Eleonora for hosting me in their home. I loved getting to know the region a little bit, and I was very sad to go! The tasks were very enjoyable and it was good to be doing something different from what I'm used to. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone interested!
