La familia que te recibe es muy abierta, cuabdo te comunicas con ellos con respeto ellos abren sus puertas a su cultura y sus creencias. Culturalmente mi visita fue muy buena, me hicieron sentir como en casa, traté de retribuirles con lo que pude, adaptarce es necesario, excelente mi experiencia con ellos. Gracias por todo!!

La experiencia empezó fatal, por suerte fue mejorando. Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que como no había más voluntarios teníamos que hacer dos turnos si queríamos estar juntas (viajamos en pareja), dos turnos son 10h al día. Antes de aceptar la estadía aquí, hablamos con él para resolver dudas y él nos dijo que si íbamos a poder hacer las 5h juntas. Pasado el primer día de trabajo, hablamos con ellos y les decimos que si no llegamos a un acuerdo, nosotras nos marchamos ya que 10h al día es una barbaridad, al final nos quedamos menos dias e hicimos las 5 horas. El resto de apectos bien :)

Es un lugar increíble, estuve haciendo el voluntariado por dos semanas y fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora porque tuve la oportunidad de compartir con otros viajeros y con la gente local, Sokha hace que te sientas en casa y ademas hace que tu experiencia sea mas enriquecedora ya que tienes la oportunidad de probar la comida local. Sin duda volveria a este encantador lugar.

Buena una buena experiencia. El lugar es muy relajado, y muy bonito en los alrededores. El anfitrión es muy flexible, todo lo podes hablar. Quizás no están muy claras las horas y tareas, pero lo revolver hablando. La comida muy rica y el lugar divertido

La experiencia fue buena, la gente es amable, la hermana del jefe es maravillosa, no entiende ingles pero aún asi te entiendes con ella. Lo único que habría que mejorar es saber tu horario de trabajo, ya que la verdad que no hay mucho trabajo, pero estás como muchas horas trabajando aunque como digo no es un trabajo duro. Los alrededores son bastante bonitos. Recomiendo el hostel si te gusta un poquito de relax en tu viaje.

I had an excellent time volunteering at the hostel. Thank you, Sokha, for being so open and kind! I truly enjoyed being among the guests and working with a lovely team of fellow volunteers. The work includes general hostel chores such as cleaning, making beds, handling check-ins, making coffee, and bartending. One thing I would note: be mindful of protecting your working hours and days off—you may need to ask for these explicitly. If you're comfortable with that, all is good. All in all, it was a great experience that I will never forget.

We stayed for two weeks there and we have absolutely no regrets ! We even thought about extending our stay because everything went perfectly for us ! Peak and Soka are amazing people they were kind and generous to us ! Also the place is beautiful, it is close to the city so it is very convenient for everything and the hostel is designed in a jungle/tropical way so it is very relaxing and peaceful to be there !! I'll recommend 100% for those who are looking for a calm and enjoyable place ;)) the work is not hard only 5 hours and very flexible depending on your needs !

We stayed for two weeks, such a breath of fresh air, surrounded by nature and peace 🌿✨ The greenery around the hostel is simply MAGNIFICENT 🌳🌺 It allowed us to meet so many wonderful people: the guests became friends 🤍, and the other volunteers became family 🫶🏽👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The working hours were a bit more than what was suggested on the website (around 6 to 6.5 hours per day), but the work kept us well occupied and we didn't see the time pass at all ⏳😊 Pheak and Soka are very kind hosts 🌸🙏🏼, and I sincerely thank them for welcoming us. I truly hope to come back one day 🙏🏽💗

I stayed a full week at the hostel and I really enjoy it. Sokha and her family is really nice and welcoming. The job is diverse and I had time to explore the area. I would warmly recommand that experience.

Pheak and his family were lovely! We enjoyed staying with them so much and had a great time. 100% would recommend. His wife Sokha makes the most amazing food too!
