If you want to have a unique experience hiking in the forest to find the elephants and observing and recording their natural behaviours in their home environment, then is the right place for you. Mi experiencia en KSES ha sido maravillosa! Lo recomiendo 100%. Ha sido mi primera experiencia en worldpackers y no podria haber sido mejor. Todos los dias íbamos en busca de los elefantes y hacíamos una recogida de datos y seguimiento de su comportamiento. Nunca habia visto un elefante y fue increíble ademas de todo lo que he aprendido sobre ellos. Lo que mas me gusto es el respeto que tienen por los animales, el entorno y las personas que viven en el pueblo donde esta ubicado KSES. I spent a week here at the shelter and it was definitely the best week of all my travels! The welcoming I received from both the Karen village and the amazing staff and interns was warmer than I could have imagined! The hike to the elephants every morning was beautiful and the ability to watch these once captive elephants roam through the forest, rivers and hills was very powerful. The experiences here are once in a lifetime and the work being done is incredible! I wish I could have stayed longer - thank you so much for having me here!

The work being done at the shelter is so important and inspirational. The elephants are well taken care of with the freedom to roam as they would in the wild. It was so cool to observe them and learn more about their behaviors, diets, and the crisis happening at the shelter parks all over Thailand. It was incredible to see them be able to just be elephants. The gibbon program is also amazing, although we didn't see too many gibbons. The Karen people are incredible as well!! So welcoming and generous. We got to cook with them and learned how to weave and make coffee with them. Forever grateful!

We spent a great week surrounded by 4 great supervisors, as passionate about making us discover their work as about making us discover a real community experience. These 5 days went by super fast, we loved living in contact with the community and the elephants! We recommend it to anyone wishing to experience something unique. Thanks to them again!

We had a great week with KSES. Cristina, Jasmine, Lacey and Maria were very welcoming and kind to us, as were the villagers. This week was an opportunity to learn a lot about elephants, the Karen community and their way of life, and to take part in some great and meaningful projects. We were able to see the elephants every day and had a very busy and rewarding week!

Aprende sobre proyectos ecológicos y viaja con propósito. Recibe un certificado de finalización de este curso, aumenta tus posibilidades de aceptación por parte de anfitriones y amplía tus oportunidades de voluntariado, contribuyendo a un impacto positivo en el mundo durante tus viajes.
¿Cómo funcionan los viajes con Worldpackers?
Cuando eres miembro, te pones en contacto con anfitriones y viajas de forma segura cuantas veces quieras.
Elige tu plan para viajar con worldpackers las veces que quieras.
Completa tu perfil, asiste a las video-clases de la Academy y obtén certificados para destacar tu perfil con los anfitriones.
Solicita tantos lugares como quieras y habla con nuestros anfitriones verificados..
Si el anfitrion cree que encajas bien en el puesto, serás pre aprobado.
Prepara documentacion y pasajes necesarios para el voluntariado.
Confirma tu viaje para tener toda la seguridad de worldpackers.
Vive tu experiencia transformadora e impacta positivamente en el mundo.
Si algo sale mal durante la estancia, puedes contar con la Protección WP y con nuestro equipo de asistencia.
