Teach English & Live Like a local in Chaing mai, Thailand...

This is the right place to spend time in peace and calmness. It's a rural area surrounded by nature. In our free time, we went rafting, and since it's about an hour from Chiang Mai, we went there on the weekends. Sometimes, the work was quite hard. This time, we had almost six classes per day, so it's better to be prepared. For me, it was a good experience and a pleasant time spent.

It's an amazing place, met so many great people there and the food is delicious. Classes run from 3.10 until 8.40 Only downside is that it's quite far away from the city so it's really hard to get a Grab.

The is school is great! They have a lot of students with differents ages. The work is to teach online so for me was rewarding. The kids are so smart but definitely you need to have patience. I feel very comfortable in the place so I totally recommend this place. 6 classes maximum and in between some breaks. The only thing I could say it's about food, it's so good but if you are used to eat good breakfast and during the day, you will have to spend a little bit more. Awesome place, awesome experience!

Great way to meet people in a nice local spot with some great students to teach English too and as an added bonus they teach you sometimes.

I'm so glad that I'm able to volunteer on this trip! Teaching has been a great learning experience for me and on top of that it was awesome knowing other travellers around the world as well. Also thank you so much for the meals provided, I would say that location wise is really not the most ideal if you're thinking of exploring the city during your free time because it's nowhere bear the city. You might only be able to explore the city during your off days. But anyway, thank you so much for the experience! I hope to come back again :)

Honestly, I had such an amazing time here. Uncle Ping-pong, Gong and Beth are all so cool. The work was super easy, online one on one with a student. The food was so good! I'd 100% come back here if I could. The only thing to be mindful about is that it is 30 to 40 minutes outside the city so you do spend a lot of time at the homestead, but it's so peaceful and nice there I have no complaints. And you're with so many other volunteers which is fun

I loved my stay at Ban Bon Doi Homestay!! The staff is so so nice and caring, they truly feel like a second family!! I taught all age groups from 7 year olds to 60 year olds which was really nice for a change. I'm gonna miss everyone so much!!!

I had a great time and met some nice people. The hosts were really warm and welcoming and sometimes went out of their way to help us whether it was with transportation or just cooking some extra food. The teaching was very fun even though it could be a bit exhausting sitting in front of a Laptop all evening. They also had no problem with me having to leave a week early and were very understanding. Overall I had a great experience. The homestead is a bit far from the city so if you look to explore Chiang Mai you can only really do that on the weekends.

Our debut Worldpackers journey with Fai will definitely be special to us. Fai and her family provided impeccable accommodations and unwavering support. Teaching English through Fai's online school was fulfilling. Exploring Chiang Mai and enjoying a Thai cooking class and bamboo rafting added to the memorable experience. I highly recommend this enriching volunteer opportunity to all the traveler's who look forward to immerse in Thailands beauty.
