The hostel was my home for 3 months! I'm so grateful to had my first worldpackers/ volunteer experience here! The tasks were super simple, there's always someone around to have a little hand if it's needed. I think is the most perfect environment to be in constant cultural exchange and share the best energy with amazing people! I had the opportunity to travel as much as I could, I also improved my English! The location is wonderful, super close to the beaches and also super easy to go to Lisbon and cascais. I couldn't be more grateful for everything I learned in this last 3 months! 🩷

Sofia was a joy to have with us at Impact Beach House. She is incredibly sweet, friendly, and responsible, always bringing kindness and a gentle energy to the team. She started a bit shy and not the most proactive, but soon proved to be a hard worker and a wonderful colleague who could always be relied on. As a first experience I couldn't have chosen a better place. The environment is wonderful, nice and flexible shifts, in front of the beach, all meals included and with great people. I was able to practice English daily in contact with volunteers and workaways and also learn about their environmental and sustainable projects. Rating 1000 for manager Natacha, incredible and very human person, makes you feel like part of the family. A special hug to Diogo and Rita who are the founders of the project and also excellent people. I highly recommend this experience and hope to see them again.

Tarik quickly became part of the family at Impact Beach House. He is such a wonderful person — kind, polite, mature, and responsible — always ready to help with a big heart and a positive attitude. Super flexible and talented, he supported us with driving, maintenance, and even some tech-related tasks where his skills were a huge help. Beyond his work, Tarik is the best kind of colleague: bringing joy, good energy, and a spirit of collaboration that lifted the whole team. Thank you Tarik!

The hostel has a great mission of sustainability and promotes conscious travel. I sincerely appreciate how the house includes different climate-conscious features, such as appliances and second-hand furniture. However, the organization of the program could improve. As a world packer, I would have appreciated more communication or structure within the experience. The team, for example, could incorporate weekly or bi-weekly team meetings with volunteers, especially for the social media staff. I also recommend that volunteers have strong Portuguese skills to integrate more with the team.

Sydney joined us to support with social media and communication. While she was always polite and receptive to feedback, this experience showed that she requires very clear directions, structured schedules, and close follow-up in order to perform her tasks. She has potential in creating photo and video materials, and perhaps in a different environment she might develop her skills further. This was my first experience with worldpackers and I had an amazing time. I liked it so much that I decided to spend one more month than expected 😁 The job is really easy and the shifts are really good planned cause I had a lot of free time to discover Portugal 😍 I met incredible people and friends for life! The team is super nice, especially Natacha who is lovely and was always there for me! I'll carry the memories of these 3 months forever in my heart. I was really happy and I will come back soon 🌅❤️

Araceli arrived to Impact Beach House a bit shy, but throughout her volunteering she showed just how brave and courageous she truly is. She is a sweet person with a big heart, and at the same time responsible, mature, and flexible. A wonderful colleague to have around, Araceli handled stressful situations with calm and reliability, proving that we could always count on her. I loved my time at the hostel! The place is gorgeous, just a short walk from the sea and super easy to reach Lisbon. The work is easy to learn, and even if any doubts come up, the team is always ready to help, also the shifts are planned in advance, making it simple to organize your free time and enjoy the experience to the fullest. The hostel has such a fun vibe, perfect for meeting amazing people from all over the world and creating unforgettable memories. Huge thanks to Natacha for being such an amazing manager. I'm so happy with this experience and totally recommend it!

Irene volunteered with us at the reception and proved to be a very sweet and friendly person. She is honest, straightforward, and easy to communicate with, which made collaboration pleasant. Although she sometimes needed extra guidance with her tasks, she brought kindness and positivity to the house and was a nice presence to have around. Thank you Irene!

My first volunteering experience through Worldpackers and couldn't be more grateful for my time there!!! From day one, Natacha, the manager, made me feel so welcomed and loved. She's the sweetest person ever, always going above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best one. The shifts were super manageable, leaving plenty of time to get to know Portugal, and the flexibility was a huge plus. The location couldn't be better: so close to the beach, as well as the train station.

I had a great time at the hostel! The location is amazing, just 3 minutes walking to the beach, close to the metro and just 40 minutes away from Lisbon. We had all the meals included even thought they don't have a lot of vegetarian options. The schedule is shared with us in advance so we can plan our month and we just have to do 11 shifts per month. The manager, Natacha, is incredible and super helpful. I really recommend the experience.

IBH is an amazing place to volunteer. I feel grateful for spending almost 2 months surrounded by great, supportive and lovely people (house staff and fellow/former volunteers). The house itself is beautiful and has its own vibe. Depending on the day, it can feel super alive due to the arrival of new guests for the hostel Projects (which are interesting), and sometimes it's quiet. It's also well located: 7 min walk to the beach 🌊 or the train station. As for the tasks/shifts, they are easy to do and well organized in advance, and if you have any doubts, you can always count on the team 🌼

Oh Laura... what a gift she was to Impact Beach House. Incredibly intelligent, proactive, and mature, she quickly became not only the best colleague but also a true inspiration. With her beautiful yoga soul, she brought peace and balance to the house and eventually became our yoga teacher, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. I had such a great experience here at the hostel. I loved meeting other world packers and exploring the area together. The one note I have is that whenever I ran into a problem and no one else was at the house, there was very little to no communication and no one seemed to know how to solve these problems.
