Ana was a wonderful volunteer to have with us at Impact Beach House. She has such a beautiful yoga soul that shines through in the way she connects with people — always friendly, calm, and easy-going. At the same time, she is highly responsible, organized, and punctual, which made her a great support at the reception. Her presence brought warmth and positivity to the team, and we are truly grateful for her help. Any host will be lucky to welcome Ana!

Mi experiencia en IBH ha sido maravillosa. Natacha, quien se encarga de la casa, es una mujer hermosa que te recibe con los brazos abiertos y siempre flexible. El equipo de voluntarios y trabajadores son cálidos, simpáticos y colaboradores, uno se siente dentro de un equipo. Estar tan cerca de la playa es un lujo, que te permite incluir el océano en tu rutina diaria. Además de poder acceder a todas las actividades que se desempeñan en el recinto. Así mismo, la cercanía a Lisboa lo hace un lugar ideal para relajarse y tener la capital también muy a la mano, pudiendo ir y venir sin problema.

Alexia stayed with us for just one month, but it felt like she had been part of the family for much longer. With her beautiful soul, she contributed greatly to our community-driven events and showed deep dedication to improving the lives of people in difficult conditions. En IBH te sientes como en casa, desde el primer momento tienes ayuda y apoyo siempre que lo necesitas. He conocido otros voluntarios que me llevo en el corazón, además de llevarme las playas que hay cerca del hostel! Una muy buena experiencia, cerca del centro de lisboa y de las playas también :))

Holaa!! Esta ha sido mi primera experiencia como voluntaria con worldpackers. Sinceramente, me voy muy contenta de haber pasado este último mes en Estoril, donde he podido conocer gente de todas partes y un lugar maravilloso. La jornada laboral son 11 dias al mes 8 horas cada dia en turno de mañana o de tarde, las horas más ajetreadas son durante la comida y la cena porque se juntan más clientes, pero en general todas las tareas son muy sencillas. Ivo y el equipo siempre fue súper simpático y desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir como en casa. Gracias por todo!!❤️

Mi primer experiencia como voluntaria, estuvo bastante bien. Se respetaron siempre los horarios pactados. La casa es muy linda y el ambiente es cool. Esta a 2 cuadras de la playa y el ambiente con los otros voluntarios que viven allí es muy familiar. Las tareas no son difíciles de llevar a cabo y es fácil de aprender.

It was like my first time volunteering and honestly, couldn't ask for a better place in PT! IBH has such a warm and welcoming vibe… Reception tasks are simple and enjoyable, mostly check-ins/outs. Plus, the house is 1 min away from the beach and 5min away from the train station-really convenient! Natacha, the manager, is a lovely soul, she also makes sure that your schedule is flexible and respected so that you have plenty of time to travel around. What I loved the most is that there are many international volunteers coming who stay for long periods so you can build meaningful connections.

Gabi volunteered with us at the reception and was an absolutely outstanding addition to the team. She is a wonderful young woman with great energy, a healthy and sporty lifestyle, and a very positive attitude that truly influenced both the team and the overall atmosphere of the hostel. Gabi was extremely organized, learned everything very quickly, and consistently went beyond her required tasks. Her professionalism, friendliness, and natural hospitality made her a pleasure to work with. <3

IBH felt like a second home since the first day! The environment in the house is amazing, the food is delicious, the room is very clean and cozy! Cascáis and Estoril are absolutely gorgeous. Learned a lot of Portuguese and met friends for life! My favorite thing was having the beach just 2 mins away walking and sea view from the house! I would 100% recommend this volunteer experience! Natacha (the host) is amazing, caring, lovely and shifts are flexible so you can plan trips through Portugal or the EU. Im so grateful for being able to live this experience and I hope to come back next year <3

Staying at the hostel was the BEST experience I could've asked for. What was originally 2 months lasted for 5. I can't express how grateful I am to have been part of the team, for being welcomed and cherished as I was. Natacha, the manager, is not only an amazing women, but also an amazing mother, a friend and boss hehehe. She was there for me whenever I needed both in the work itself, but in my personal life. The hostel is an opened place for you to bring ideas, develop projects, but if you are not a dedicated detailed oriented person, it might not be a good fit. BEST PLACE IN PT <3

A experiência foi incrível, super recomendo para quem deseja fazer um voluntariado. Foi minha primeira experiência e me diverti bastante. É ideal que seja uma pessoa proativa para as tarefas e queira de fato colaborar, todos me receberam muito bem e sempre se preocuparam comigo, durante minha estadia me senti em casa. Foi excelente!

My experience in the hostel was amazing and unforgettable. I met lovely people from all over the world and I also make new friends. Natacha and João were always taking care of us and the housekeeping is very kind too. I was volunteering at reception. The job is easy to learn, but you have some responsibilities. The schedule is very good because you have many days off. I can't recommend you more this experience. Three free meals per day in a hostel with an unbeatable location. All this trying to be more and more sustainable. Thank you so much! Muito obrigada! ¡Gracias por todo!

Marta was an absolute pleasure to host at Impact Beach House. She is incredibly mature, calm, and easy-going, which made her a natural fit at the reception and with the rest of the team. Always friendly and kind, she got along with everyone and created a great atmosphere in the hostel. Her creativity brought valuable improvements to our daily routines, and we admired her courage to embrace even the tasks that were new to her. Marta is a truly lovely person and we were lucky to have her!
