Stay in the most recycled Hotel in Chile

Maybe because I was there during the busiest season, I had a just ok experience at the hotel. The staff is very welcoming and the rooms/food provided are really nice!! But the biggest problem was that I often had to work 1hr extra each shift with no compensation. I felt treated more like a free employee than a volunteer specifically by the owners, who were disorganized and uncommunicative. They told us only 1 day in advance that during NYE they had rented out our rooms! All the volunteers had to stay for 2 nights in the owners house! Overall I felt a little disappointed with the expectations.

This was mine and my boyfriend's first volunteering experience and from the first day we had a great time. The room and the hotel are very beautiful and we felt welcomed by the staff and the volunteers. The job was straightforward. Most days we worked at the hotel's restaurant, taking orders, making pizzas and drinks, helping with preparations for the next morning's breakfast and cleaning (the restaurant and other parts of the hotel). Occasionally we also helped with breakfast and helped the housekeeping team with cleaning the rooms. We were also able to make some really good friends!

I enjoyed my time at the hotel!! It was a great location and the accommodation was very nice. I met some nice people while volunteering there and had overall a good experience. Thanks to Zofia and the rest of the staff for a great time!

Não poderia ter escolhido lugar melhor para meu primeiro voluntariado, as atividades são bem tranquilas e bem explicado, o horário é incrível pois tem o dia para conhecer a cidade que por sinal é muito linda e acolhedora. Zofia e Nico são maravilhosos, sempre atenciosos e prestativos, foram dias incríveis, obrigada família o hotel com certeza voltarei!

Gostei muito da experiência no the hotel. As instalações são cômodas e temos tudo que precisamos. Os horários e dias livres são respeitados, sempre conforme o combinado. Além disso, Valparaíso é uma cidade incrível! Recomendo!

This is my first Worldpacker experience and it was great. The team at the hotel was very flexible and straightforward on communication. They provide basic food for the week, an equipped room, and other volunteers from all over the world with a great experience overall!

Não poderia ter escolhido um lugar melhor para meu primeiro voluntariado. Zofia, Alex e Romi estão no meu coração. O horário é seguido e respeitado, eles tem flexibilidade caso seja necessário. Eles dão uma caixa com itens básicos de comida além de muitas frutas variadas. Penso apenas que se fosse pra mudar algo seria a divisão de quartos, pois se tem mais de 1 pessoa no quarto não fica confortável por ser um sofá cama. Tirando isso a experiência foi ótima.

Minha experiência foi incrível … acomodações boas , o trabalho foi muito interessante na cozinha e bar do hotel . Conviver com os hóspedes e com a staff do hotel foi incrível … recomendo muito esse voluntariado.

Gostei muitoo. As horas são respeitadas e cumpridas, a habitação e a alimentação que dão pro café da manhã são ótimas. As tarefas são basicamente estar no terraço no bar e na cozinha, cozinhando para o café (bolos, biscoitos, tortas, massas de pizza…) ou pra janta de quem esta na hora (tábua de frios e pizzas), SEMPRE há o que cozinhar, então recomendo pra quem minimamente sabe o básico e gosta. Também pode ter que atender o bar, servir vinhos e drinks ou ajudar a servir o café da manhã. O staff é muito receptivo e gentil 💛
