Volunteering at the organization has been a wonderful experience! I was so lucky to end up here! The whole team has been amazing and always willing to help. The work we do at the community kitchen truly feels like it makes a difference, which makes it even more special. Mary is always incredibly patient with us, making sure we understand everything. Yannik and Kai have also been extremely kind and welcoming. Plus the accommodation is very comfortable!! Highly recommended!! You won't regret being part of it 🩷✨

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I really liked it! I think sometimes the communication with the kitchen and with the volunteers could have been better, but the work itself is really rewarding because you have a true social impact and there's a lot of free time you can fill up however you like. The accomodation itself has all the things necessary to live there and having a communal kitchen means you can see the other volunteers outside of work too and connect with them. I would recommend this experience to others

I loved the experience, I learned a lot and made many friends. The kitchen work was very easy, Mary is a lovely person so it is very enjoyable to work with her, and she is also a very committed person. I would be delighted to do it again!

I don't know if I could have found a better place for my first Volunteering experience.It was a very pleasant experience for me.I met very nice people.The hosts are very kind.The working conditions are very comfortable.Oh Marry is a wonderful woman.She works in the kitchen with endless energy and joy.You will also have more time to explore the city and the country.Yannik and Kai Thank you very much for everything.I would like to come again.

Incredible experience at the organization! It was my 1st volunteering and I loved it. The work is as described (mon/tue/thu at kitchen or clothes shop) and people are very nice and welcoming. You have enought time to explore cities nearby (take a deutchland ticket!). The appartment for volunteers is great and I had the chance to be with amazing people. Thanks for this marvellous adventure!

A experiência em a organização foi realmente incrível. Tudo muito organizado e bem explicado. O trabalho é muito tranquilo e você tem muito tempo livre para aproveitar da maneira que quiser. A Mary, cozinheira, é uma querida. E, ainda que fale apenas alemão, ela é paciente para te explicar as coisas. O Yannik e o Cai também me receberam super bem e me auxiliaram em tudo. O casa é bem grande e a cozinha e o quarto privado são bem equipados. Também pude conhecer outros viajantes voluntários que foram muito amigáveis e foi muito divertido. Só agradecer por esse tempo em a organização.

I really enjoyed my time at the organization. I primarily worked in the kitchen and the tasks were fairly simple and straightforward. Marie is a jewel and I had a wonderful time working alongside her. Kai and Yannik were very helpful and there to answer any questions. It was a wonderful opportunity to do good work in service of others and there was ample time to visit the major cities nearby (Essen, Cologne, etc.).
