Anne nos acogió estupendamente junto a Jack, un voluntario, no pude estar más de lo que me hubiese gustado pero fue una experiencia única, me gustó poder ayudar en el proyecto ya que necesitan muuucha ayuda. Como aportación estaría bien que tanto los perritos como los voluntarios se separasen a la hora de convivir.

Mi experiencia fue mala. Anne me recibió y se la veía una buenísima persona y con gran corazón, me trató con respeto.Myrna, me trató fatal.Cuando llegue a mi habitación habia arañas, ratones, ratas, cacas en el colchón etc. Me quedé en shock y decidí irme. Dos amigas más iban a venir y no vinieron al ver las fotos. Anne me comentó llevarme a un apartamento en su pueblo, pero estaba tan sorprendida por lo antihigiénico que era que decidí coger el autobús del susto. Worldpackers me ha devuelto mi dinero de Hotel , ya que vieron las fotos y me dieron toda la razón, así que con eso digo todo.

Cuando se llega a un lugar y ocurren problemas, se habla con los responsables y se busca soluciones, no irse sin decir ni hola ni adiós. El lugar adonde estamos es el pleno campo, hay por todos los lados animales que han sido abandonados y maltratados. No es la primera vez que a pesar que las habitaciones se areglan se cuelan dentro y se suben a la cama o roban un zapato, una manta y hacen otras cosas. Sentimos que ha pasado con Natalia, lo que no se o ella tenía que haber eligido este sitio para sus experiencias de voluntariado. Adonde hay tantos animales hay que estar cada minuto atento en limpieza y otras cosas. Te llevan de regalo un ratón muerto de regalo, que es su instincto. Así, hay que aprender mismo como humano de los hábitos de los animales. Repito: problemas se resuelven. No se huyen de ellos. Gracias por entender.

I had a beautiful time at Myrna's home, I was welcomed and hosted wholeheartedly and it was a great experience through and through. The dogs and cats are the cutest and very well taken care of. You can see the love for the animals in every corner of the home. I would definitely recommend the voluntary!

Ich habe mich herzlich aufgenommen und sehr wohl gefühlt. Es stand ein eigenes Zimmer und immer leckeres frisches Essen zur Verfügung, es wurde auf meine Vorlieben geachtet. Paco und Myrna sind tolle Menschen, die man leicht ins Herz schließen kann! Genauso mit den Tieren die einfach alle wundervoll sind. Die Aufgaben sind füttern und sauber machen, was man schnell erledigen kann, sonst kann man sich natürlich noch viel mehr um die Tiere kümmern und tolle Erfahrungen sammeln. Es fiel mir schwer Abschied zu nehmen und ich möchte wieder kommen - auch um meine Katze zu adoptieren! Vielen Dank!

Staying with Myrna and Paco for two weeks was truly an honor. Myrna is a woman with huge heart and a deep love for animals. The animals are just amazing, it's impossible not to fall in love with them. The work wasn't difficult, just a few hours a day, and I had my own room with constant access to the fridge. Thank you for everything – I couldn't have wished for a better first Worldpackers experience.❤️ I'd love to come back someday!!

I went to Tenerife for three weeks and stayed with Myrna, which was truly the best Worldpackers experience! I enjoyed spending time with all the wonderful dogs she has, and the work was very simple, taking only around two hours a day. Myrna and Paco welcomed me as though I were part of their family, and I really felt at home in their house. Myrna is a lovely, smart woman with her heart in the right place! Everything was perfect, and I would love to come back in the future! THANK YOU, Myrna, for everything! :)❤️❤️❤️❤️

If you want to be inspired by the courageous Myrna and seek impact in small ways, this is the place for you. Myrna is an incredible woman who does anything and everything, the real question is what doesn't she do? My time here was spent taking off some responsibilities of their shoulders such as feeding the beautiful beings of their home, and generally cleaning and assisting in the farm. If you love animals, aren't afraid to get dirty, this is the place to go. Both Myrna and Paco were very welcoming, I also felt very safe in their home. Thank you both for welcoming me and for what you do! <3

Oh woow what can i say??? It was such an amazing experience, from the moment they picked me up at the airport i felt like home. Myrna and Paco are such kind and amazing people! The work was simple and you have a lot of free time, working and living with the dogs we're fantastic but remember, you will 100% want to adopt at least one 😆 do it if you can! Tho its a little bit hard to get around from there, Myrna and Paco are very open to show you places and help you to get around and explore! I miss them and the dogs already, cant wait to go back! Thank you for everything 🫶🏼🐾

Pro: zona ideale per disconnettere, situazione famigliare, al contatto con la vita locale e con i cani, tutti buonissimi, momento della cena in cui si condividono storie dei propri paesi d'origine molto interessanti, sempre a disposizione lavatrice e cucina, lavoro semplice Contro: dovevo dormire in camera con un cane vecchiotto che poverino non poteva contenersi e faceva i suoi bisogni la notte, disturbandomi il sonno, e Mirna era molto occupata e non ci ha potuto mostrare un pò l'isola come mi aspettavo da altre recensioni lette, consiglio di avere un'auto In generale esperienza positiva!

I stayed with my friend at Anne's shelter for two weeks. We were working 4 hours a day (from 8:30-12:30), we were cleaning the property and the work wasnt easy but it was only 4 hours so not that long. After that Anne took us to the beach few times and it was really nice. The animals were also very cute:)) The thing we didnt really like were the conditions in which we lived but you have to be prepared for that when you go to help in an animal shelter as its normal that the space gets dirty really fast. But overall it was an amazing experience and I really liked the whole trip:)
