I spent a wonderful 2 weeks picking raspberries at Monika's farm! The host went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed - you truly are a part of the family. It's a great opportunity to meet other volunteers from all over the world, and Slovenian locals as well! Definitely recommend getting out for some hikes in the surrounding hills and going on deliveries with Monika to see the whole the farm process! Monika is very easy to communicate with and happy to help you maximize your stay - like when I said I had never made jam before she was more than happy to teach me - hvalla!! :)

I had the most incredible 2 weeks on Monika's farm, I learned a lot about farm life and specifically all the work and logistics that go into a (small) production farm. Monika was an amazing host and involved us volunteers in so many fun local activities. She was very accommodating for whatever we needed and she was respectful of our free time! I can't recommend this experience enough ❤️

If I could give this experience more than five stars, I would. With this being my first WorldPackers experience, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but Monika, Jure, and Filip made me feel so at home, and they included us volunteers in plenty of activities outside of weeding the fields (among many others, visiting the Celje castle, walks around the neighborhood, hosting a family barbecue, and setting up a chocolate fountain). The care and kindness Monika puts into her job as a host really shines through. If I could stay forever I would—hvala again for a wonderful two weeks!!!🐈‍⬛🐓🏔️

This is a good opportunity to connect with nature and have a local experience. Since there were not many raspberries yet, we mostly weeded and did odd jobs around the farm. We worked anywhere from 1-5 hours per day. The family is welcoming and invited the volunteers to join in barbecues, hikes, etc. Monika was a great cook! My favorite part was joining the neighboring family for lunch on her farm. There is time to chill, read, relax during the middle of the day. I recommend going to the Logar valley for a day off as it was one of the most amazing sights I've seen.

My experience on the farm with Monika, Jure, and Filip was incredible. I seriously can not imagine a better experience. The work went by quickly—we mostly helped weed around the farm bushes to prepare for harvest season or helped with daily building and cleaning tasks. Outside of work, we were welcomed by Monika and her family for grill-outs, fun activities and beautiful hikes with the dogs. Plus, Monika's cooking is better than anything! Our room was comfortable and private, and we were never left without accommodation. I'll truly miss the farm and the connections I made there. Amazing!

Fantastic!! Monika, Jure and Filip are all very welcoming, friendly and fun to hangout with! Shoutout to Charlie, Luna and Misun, will miss all of you! The farm is located in a beautiful spot in the hills above Vojnik. Celje is a bike ride away which is perfect for day trips and exploring, lots to see. I very much enjoyed helping out at the farm from window installation, electrical and of course weeding which I definitely got better at as the days progressed. I will forever be grateful for my time at the farm. May the season be filled with abundance. Much love from Canada!! Cheers

I've had an amazing two weeks here. The family—Monika, Jure, and Pilip—made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They are very kind and fun. The work was enjoyable, and the schedule was clearly set. As for the surroundings, you're surrounded by nature and also close to some cities you can explore or visit by train. I had the chance to discover some great places thanks to their recommendations. For anyone looking for a volunteering opportunity, I definitely recommend it.

If I I could give Monika and Jure more stars then I would - My stay at the farm has been absolutely wonderful. The farm is beautiful, the animals really cute (especially with Missan the cat living with the volunteers) and the atmosphere very friendly. The working hours are respected and Monika worked alongside us regularly offering clear instructions. Monika and Jure were also very generous with their time to help ensure we could see the local area to get the most from our experience I also really enjoyed joining Monika on her. morning dog walks in the local area. A gem of a Worldpackers!

I had a great time! the farm season was almost over, so we had different gardening tasks on the farm. After work we discovered the sourroundings by walking or car, often together with Monika and Jure. They made everthing possible and the two weeks went by too quickly. Big Hvala for everything! :)

This Volunteering experience was a 10/10! Monika and her family are warmhearted, caring and of course funny people. We volunteered after the farm-highsaison, so we did a lot of work around the farm, which was reasonable and clear communicated from the beginning. I definetely enjoyed the walks together with Monika and the Carli, as well as exploring the places Monika took us. She always takes care that everyone feels comfortable. Thanks for having us!
