Voluntariar en el hostel fue una experiencia increíble. Desde el primer día te integran como parte de una familia. El staff y los voluntarios son lo mejor, siempre amigables. Los turnos son flexibles (en su mayoría de 11 a 1), así que tienes el resto del día libre para disfrutar Edimburgo o visitar otras ciudades cercanas. Además, todos los días hay actividades: pub crawls, noches de juegos, etc. El ambiente es muy social y te sientes como en casa. ¡Recomendadísimo! Es para estar más de un mes sin sentir que estás apurado por moverte, incluso buscar algo más a largo plazo

A pesar del tiempo que estuve la verdad la experiencia de este hostal es lo mejor🤩. Las tareas son muy fácil y tienes tiempo libre de sobra para conocer Edimburgo y sus alrededores, desde el día uno me sentí bienvenida por el staff, todos siempre están con la mejor disposición de ayudarte🙌🏼 y me gusta que todos los días hay juegos o actividades y así conoces más personas, súper recomendado!

This was the perfect place to have my first Worldpackers experience. Everyone was super welcoming, the working hours were easily manageable, and the job was easy and well organized. The best part is the people you get to meet here. There are volunteers from all over the world, and I was able to create amazing friendships. They also organize lots of events, so you'll have plenty of fun. On top of that, the hostel's location is perfect for exploring the city and enjoying the nightlife. I really, really recommend this hostel to everyone!

Volunteering at the hostel was probably the best five weeks of my life. I met incredible people, made lasting connections, and felt so welcomed by an incredible group of people. If you want a home away from home this is the place to be. You'll find music, laughter, discover the charm of Edinburgh, and feel like you're part of a family. I'll definitely find my way back to this beautiful place.

I had the time of my life at the hostel! I loved every moment i spend here, from doing the daily activities that are being organized by the hostel to just hanging around the lounge with the other volunteers, there was never a dull moment here. The work that has to be done is so fair and easily manageable that it gives you plenty of time to explore the city and its surrounding nature. I'm going to miss everybody immensely and can't wait to come back!

This is a truly amazing place to stay and volunteer. The work is so fair and people are absolutely amazing! You'll get a lot of free time to explore the city and have fun. The lounge and kitchen is very spacious and different fun events are going on everyday. I'm looking forward to coming back again!

I truly cannot recommend the hostel enough. From my first day, everyone--both management and volunteers--made sure I felt at home. It was my first time working at a hostel, and probably the most social environment I'd ever been exposed to, so I was a bit overwhelmed at the start but, within a few days, I already felt I had a second family in Edinburgh. I never thought I would miss hoovering, shooting pool after lunch, eating pain au chocolats for breakfast, or sleeping in a 16-bed dorm so much, but it was these mundane moments I'll remember the most. I can't wait to come back!!

100& the best volunteering experience ever!!! Words cannot describe how much I will cherish my time at the hostel. About the experience: The work is easy -- just simple cleaning shifts. You get to pick your own schedule, so you could work for two hours every day or give yourself 5 days off if you wanted! The living quarters for volunteers is very cozy and clean. Volunteers get their own floor of the hostel since there are so many of us (roughly 30). Everyone is SO lovely and people go out of their way to feed you, shop with you, help you out, have jam sessions together, and make true friends!

I loved my time at the hostel! So much so that I extended an extra month! The tasks are fair and the hostel's location is great. I made amazing friends with other volunteers as well as guests. All of the social events put on by the hostel are very fun and well organized. Special thanks to Gabs, Dale, and Jay for being such an amazing management team. They were always helpful, caring, flexible. I can't wait to return to Edinburgh sometime in the future! (:

I had an amazing time at the hostel and met plenty of wonderful people. The hours and work are fair and managed well. It is a fun environment with events happening every night and there are plenty of other volunteers to plan activities with. I highly suggest volunteering here and hope to return myself sometime in the future.
