Descripción

Volunteer will get 2 meals (breakfast and lunch) and have the ingredients for the dinner which they have to cook themselves in our kitchen as we don't have staff to prepare the dinner meals. Furthermore you can use the swimming pool, laundry machines and have unlimited water and coffee.

We are a registered animal welfare charity in North Eastern Thailand, giving sanctuary to 550+ abused, abandoned, injured & disabled dogs & cats - many of them rescued from the horrific dog meat trade on our borders.

My experience was awesome ! I am so grateful I got the chance to help taking care of all the lovely and amazing dogs and cats they have rescued. The saddest part was leaving the animals :c they are all great and will recharge you with tons of love every single day. It is such a worth experience to be part of. The hosts were also great and took us to local markets and were always very helpful.

Don't hesitate to book this. Must if you love dogs and don't mind getting dirty and you love a bit of routine. It's been a week since I left and I still miss being there. Starting with the pure rural surroundings and the grounds of the team accomodation, through the amazingly conscientious permanent volunteer couple there, not to forget every single amazing the organization soul (they love you forever even when you just look at them and they're all so beautiful and cuddly that it's so difficult not wanting to take all of them with you. Just do it ;)

Volunteer at the organization was a good experience. We worked from 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning and 13:30 to 16 in the afternoon so it's around 5:30 hours which is fair and so much rewarded by the love we received from the dogs. We are assigned a zone where we clean the cages then feed the dogs every morning so we learn to know their habits and become attached to them. In the afternoon it changes everyday, we could clean dogs that needed it, make disabled dogs swim or tale them out, play and train the puppies… we were really sad to leave them

I had 2 amazing weeks with wonderful people & of course - soooo wonderful dogs & cats! You'll easily get a routine with the daily tasks in the morning. Every afternoon looks completely different, depending on the tasks which need to be done. I really liked that! Nice pool for a nice refreshment after an intensive day of work!

My experience at the organization was one that I'll definitely remember. Working with the dogs was such a rewarding experience, so many are found in horrible situations and it was amazing to see how they recover from being in a loving environment and getting the treatment that they desperately needed. I met so many amazing people from different countries.Jesse and Diem were so kind and welcoming. Really recommend this experiment for those who are motivated and committed to help a great cause and don't mind getting your hands dirty. However, the work days are slightly different than advertised.
