One of the best hostel I've ever stayed and definitely the coziest hostel I'd like to come back to volunteer again! Owner Howard is such a great host. He's so caring and very flexible. Work hours is respected and we have more than enough volunteers while I was there, so it was easy to make shift and we had off days every 3~4 days. Hostel organize a lot of fun activities. Other volunteers are all nice and helpful. I love Malacca itself as well. It's a small world heritage city with great vibe, very friendly and nice people. A lot of great eateries nearby hostel and easy to explore.

I had a very nice time! The place is super social and the other workers/boss were super fun. Definitely recommended for socializing and meeting other people!

I highly recommend volunteering here if you get the chance! Howard has created such a wonderful environment for volunteers and guests alike. Also, the hostel matches the cozy and comforting vibes of the city and it's so lovely! Howard was also super accommodating and kind during my stay here, I hope to come back one day :)

I had a great time at the guest house , very social hostel, bike tour and free swimming pool and gym when available to do so. The rooftop is great I was up there everyday!

My time as a volunteer at the guest house was amazing! The schedule was really flexible, especially since we had more than 6 volunteers at the same time, which made it easy to balance the tasks. The hostel also had plenty of activities every day, like visiting the Sikh temple for free food, hitting the gym or the swimming pool, and showing guests around night or local markets. I'm super grateful to all the volunteers I got to live and work with. Huge thanks to Briana for her virtual assistance and to Howard for his warm hospitality. Hope to see you all again soon!

A experiência foi boa, os outros voluntários que estavam comigo eram simplesmente incríveis, vivemos momentos muito bons juntos. Malaca também me surpreendeu, é uma cidade histórica muito linda e diferente. O trabalho no hostel é simples e fácil de realizar e cada um tinha um quarto individual o que nos dava privacidade também. No geral, uma experiência agradável.

Howard and all his family welcomed us very well. The activities are very calm and welcoming, always with options such as bike rides and the opportunity to go to the pool or gym. The hostel is 4 minutes from the main weekend market in Malacca. We highly recommend this experience. Thank you very much for everything, Howard and family.

I loved staying at the guest house. Howard is fun and kind, and it was such a great opportunity to make friends and be surrounded by likeminded people. I would have happily stayed for a long time, but it was just the beginning of my travels.
