Language & Culture Exchange Program in Seoul!

It was the highlight of my time in Seoul. As long as you plan accordingly, you should be able to do 1 activity per day. The travelers I met were amazing people from all over the world and they quickly became close friends. The locals I talked with were nice people, and most were relatively happy to chat. I think the more positive and friendly you are, the more receptive they will be towards you. The accommodation was cleaner than what you expect with 12 people living there, but there is 1 bath/toilet, so give yourself time to get ready, and the beds creak. Overall the experience was amazing!

The coliving was my first volunteering experience abroad and I couldn't ask for anything better! The volunteering is very manageable, thanks also to Irene who makes this possible! The apartement is located in a super nice area! I loved every moment of my stay, I hope everyone who's next will enjoy as much as I did! 🩷🩷🩷

This was my very first volunteer experience and I couldn't have asked for a better start! E Lounge is a fantastic place where I met wonderful people from around the world and had the chance to connect with locals in a meaningful way. It's a fun environment where you can have genuine conversations with Koreans who are eager to practice their English. They were incredibly kind and even gave me great recommendations for places to visit, eat, and explore in the city! Just a quick heads-up: breakfast is not included, but there's a kitchen available so you can easily cook your own meals.

I had such a great time at the coliving! All of the other volunteers were super welcoming and I made so many amazing friends! The apartment is in a great location since there is a train station nearby as well as plenty of cafes and two of the main palaces in Seoul. The volunteer work was also interesting because talking with locals allowed me to learn more about Korean culture and the lives of people that actually live there. Overall I'd definitely recommend it :)

Ahh the coliving, miss you already! I stayed for a month at the coliving, chatting in English with locals. No pressure at all, you just have to sit down, talk and laugh. You work 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, which leaves plenty of time to explore the city, hang out with the other volunteers and basically enjoy Seoul. The apt is about a 15min walk from the café, location is very good, and you'll live with around ten other volunteers. Expect fun nights, random rooftop hangouts and fun time. If you're social and down for spontaneous plans, you'll love it! Honestly, i loved it and would recommend 100% 💖

This was an amazing experience, specially for connecting with locals and other foreigners. I wouldn't have had this same opportunity otherwise. The job is easy, 5 days a week for 3h a day (except if you eventually get the sat shift that is 4h). But, if you have problems sharing space, this may not be best option. The apt cleaning duties are divided between all the 12 volunteers living together, but the place is usually very messy. Also there's only one bathroom and you may share a small room with other 5 people. Be aware there are 5 floors no elevator to get to the apt Btw the location is 💯!

I had an amazing time at the coliving! The atmosphere was spectacular and I made so many international friends during my stay. The house has a great location. It''s close to everything, which made exploring the area super convenient. I truly hope to come back soon!
