I thoroughly enjoyed my experience volunteering at the hostel. I felt very welcomed from the beginning and made lifelong bonds with the other volunteers and staff. I found the work load very manageable and fair with plenty of free time to socialize or take trips outside of Bucharest. As far as the hostel itself, I could not recommend it more. The garden area made it easy to interact with guests and community members during the day and the hostel activities in the evenings. Overall, I loved the month I spent here and recommend this experience wholeheartedly!

This was an amazing place to volunteer, a large part due to the bonds I made with the other volunteers! The beds are comfy, the rooms have AC. I wish that the free food options were kept in stock more often, that's my main/only issue. There are events every night, and I was encouraged to host/participate, I loved it! If you like socializing with locals, this is the place. There are guests/travelers, but the majority of people there are locals, and they are lovely people worth meeting :) the owner is kind and flexible, he makes sure you're comfortable and having a good time. I'd return!

Volunteering at the hostel for 3 weeks was one of the best experiences of my life. Everyone made me feel so welcome, from staff to community members and other volunteers. Such amazing friendships were made, the work was fun and dynamic as it just felt like being with friends. The living space was comfortable, pantry essentials were provided, the hostel was clean. I can't recommend the hostel enough and have no doubt that I'll be back (soon!). Love and thanks to everyone on the team, see you all soon :D

Could not recommend more. this was my first volunteer experience, and it has set the bar incredibly high. the people, atmosphere, environment and facilities were all more than fantastic, and I would come back in a heartbeat if they would take me.

The hostel is like no other hostel I've stayed at. The staff & community are so welcoming that I instantly felt at home, and now feel like it's one I can return to. It's a comfortable space to be yourself, surrounded by open-minded people and have meaningful conversations - which I will always be grateful for. The events, especially jams and open stage, also made my stay much more special. So much talent in one place! The volunteer tasks are fair and varied, keeping it enjoyable. The day shifts were opportunities to be the hostel and rarely felt like work at all. Thanks for everything & see you again ♡

I feel eternally grateful to have shared the last month of my life with the people of the hostel. One uniquely amazing place full of incredibly talented, openminded, hardworking and kind people. A place to make connections with both travellers and locals due to the open the hostel events. The work is fun and not too demanding. A community where you feel truly cared for and appreciated. Warm, supportive environment where your input is sought out and really valued. I actually had a private room during my stay which was great. Working hours are respected and the team and wider community were very welcoming and it was lots of fun getting to know everyone. Would really recommend this place, especially if you are a first time volunteer.

What to say about the hostel, a home away from home. My first experience as a volunteer and it couldn't have been at a better place. You immerse yourself in the local culture thanks to the space they provide for the community. You meet travelers from all over the world and form beautiful friendships and bonds because most of the people who pass through this space do so with a smile. It's not just any hostel; the daily activities like the open stage, games, and debate groups make the place special. I wish to return ❤️

The hostel is truly a gem of Bucharest! I felt like I have found a second family I can count on. Rob is the most amazing host and friend anyone could ask for. The community is what glues everything together. The amount of love and support one receives from volunteering here is truly the kind of love that teaches you that it is not about how many countries you have visited, but how many you come back too. I found the hostel as a hostel guest back in 2021 and I fell in love with the culture and the environment. You never really say goodbye to a place like this, you can only say "See you soon again".

This was my first worldpackers experience (have used workaway before), and by god what an experience! This place is absolutely something special, definitely one of my best experiences of yet. This hostel allowed me to be my unique and eccentric self, and is a meeting hole for the best wierdos and amazing people. During my stay I tried art for my first time and loved it, made connections on a deeper level which I have rarely done before whilst on the road and showed me love like never before. A massive amount of love to everyone, the staff, community members and every guest that made it happen
