I had the pleasure of volunteering at the hostel for 25 days and without a doubt it was one of my best experiences, Rob is a super nice guy and the hostel is a very comfortable and sociable place, we always do events that provide interaction with travelers and the local community, I made incredible friends here and lived unique moments. I definitely recommend this experience, because it goes far beyond volunteering, the hostel is about connections and feeling at home. The work is super easy and Rob is very flexible with the schedule, the workload allowed me to enjoy the city a lot! Hope see u guys soon! 🌻

A truly fantastic experience. In the month that I spent here I made friendships and memories that will last a lifetime, and I will be forever grateful that this trip led me to the hostel. Rob is incredibly kind and present, and will not hesitate to make sure you have anything you need. There are the hostel events every night for guests, staff, and community members like Friday night trivia, or games night where there's always a game of Catan! Overall there's just a great vibe that encompasses the entire hostel and I cannot recommend it enough! Thanks again Rob!

The hostel is an incredible worldpackers location, especially for first timers. The work is fair and the location is great too, easy to visit places near bucharest on day trips. But most of all, the hostel environment that Rob has created at the hostel is unmatched from all my hostel experiences, truly a one of a kind place, where travelers and locals come together every night of the week. All the staff that work there are wonderful as well and make the working environment a lot of fun. Overall I really recommend volunteering at the hostel!

The hostel was my first worldpackers experience and I couldn't ask for a better one. Upon arrival in the evening, everybody was so kind and welcoming and trying to make me feel at home. The community the hostel has created isn't one I've seen or heard about before, but is truly amazing. The kind staff, other volunteers and the romanian people create a group like no other. The work was great and the night shifts weren't bad at all (I was quit nervous for those, but that wasn't neccesary) Te pup papa :)

The hostel was truly a home away from home. This hostel was like no other providing a community that is so rare to find these days. Whether it be the amazing Romanian staff or welcoming fellow volunteers it'll be safe to say that you wouldn't find another experience like this. Even changing beds or working the bar you can always find a smiling face and a good time. If you enjoy the work hard play hard mentality you'll fit perfectly here. Special thanks to the lovely Bianca beautiful inside and out.

This experience has been amazing, have met incredible people and made friendships that I didn't think were possible. It has shown me what a great community of volunteers and locals as well as the workers at the hostel all coming together to make everybody feel welcomed and comfortable ,made me feel at home and like I belonged. My experience at the hostel was amazing! Rob was such an accomodating host, the work (housework, bar support and occasional night shift) was reasonable and he was flexible in allowing time off so go and explore Romania. It was such an beautiful opportunity to meet both international travellers and Bucharest locals and really feel like part of the community. The permanent staff and other volunteers here were some of the best people I've ever met and I've made so many life long friends! I can't thank Rob enough for having me as part of the hostel family 💘

It is hard to find words to describe my positive experience at the hostel. Rob is an empathetic, organized host who sustains a well oiled machine - authentic to the hostel's growing impact on the local community and international traveler experience. The environment of the hostel is so much more than a hostel, it is a uniquely creative international community that is supportive, positive, and kind. The exchange of time volunteering is not work, it is working together on a team, and the receiving reward is friendship and so much more than expected. All my love and gratitude.

Volunteering at the hostel has been a great experience. I've made good friends and memories, working together with an amazing team of volunteers and local staff. What I love about the hostel is that it is a community that brings together both guests and locals. Everyday different activities takes place in the garden and I've especially enjoyed watching people perform on stage night - whether that would be playing the guitar, doing poetry or teaching dance moves. I've heard from several guests that the hostel is the best hostel they've stayed at - and I must agree. - I'll definitely be back!
