The hostel is truly a gem of Bucharest! I felt like I have found a second family I can count on. Rob is the most amazing host and friend anyone could ask for. The community is what glues everything together. The amount of love and support one receives from volunteering here is truly the kind of love that teaches you that it is not about how many countries you have visited, but how many you come back too. I found the hostel as a hostel guest back in 2021 and I fell in love with the culture and the environment. You never really say goodbye to a place like this, you can only say "See you soon again".

This was my first worldpackers experience (have used workaway before), and by god what an experience! This place is absolutely something special, definitely one of my best experiences of yet. This hostel allowed me to be my unique and eccentric self, and is a meeting hole for the best wierdos and amazing people. During my stay I tried art for my first time and loved it, made connections on a deeper level which I have rarely done before whilst on the road and showed me love like never before. A massive amount of love to everyone, the staff, community members and every guest that made it happen

This last month has changed everything, the hostel is very welcoming and I really enjoyed working with the staff. I would totally recommend this experience and I can't wait to come back to the hostel.

Words can't describe how much of an impact this experience can have in your soul! I truly enjoyed my time at the hostel, the staff made me feel welcome and accepted from the very first moment and the local community is so friendly and kind, they make you want to stay there forever. The work is fair and the hours are respected. Also, the events are all very interesting and fun to participate to. It's a safe space to try new things as well, as everyone is respectful and supportive in their own way. I'm so thankful for everything 💕 100% recommend, especially for a first volunteering experience!!

The hostel was the best place I could have ended up in. The work is fair, days off allow you to explore Romania and the community of locals is extremely welcoming. The people and the events they organize daily make this a very special place. The only risk of volunteering here is that you might end up never wanting to leave :) My three weeks went by in the blink of an eye Josephina, Rob, Cătălin, Monica, Ilinca, thank you for making my stay so wonderful! Issam, you were the best manager I could have asked for ❤️ I wish you all the very best for the future. Lots of love, Héloïse x

T5Social is not (just) a place, it's a meaningful experience of sharing, caring, artistic expression, growing, dreaming and exploring. It's an experience that I wish to every person who wants to grow and become part of an international community. Being part of the incredible vision behind this place has being an honour and a pleasure. Can't wait to be back.

Such a welcoming place, everyone is so nice & excited to make new friends. it's hard to stay bored there with daily activities & everybody always up to something. you get to know a lot of the locals & learn about romania as well. the work wasn't hard at all & you're able to sleep on night shift! definitely recommend :)

The hostel is full of energy and interesting people! (Staff, volunteers, travelers, and locals!) Music and interactions spontaneously happen, also there's daily activities which were brought with so much care. (Not only staff but community members host these events too! Many talented people) Rob & staff put a lot of effort to bring this magical place to life. Issam, Ana, Josephina, Ms.Sylvia, other volunteers, and locals...Thank you so much and I will remember you for a long long time.

The hostel really is a home away from home. The community there is so great, inclusive and accepting of new people. The hours are really manageable as the work is not hard. The team already in place there is absolutely incredible every one of them. You are never alone working, there is always a manager on shift so any questions you have they can answer for you. I never thought that I would love my experience as much as I did. Saying goodbye was absolutely heartbreaking. But there is something about this place that makes every volunteer come back and I have a feeling I won't be the exception.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! The work was easy, the hours very reasonable and the perks great!!! I met so many awesome people, locals and travellers alike. I learnt a few new skills and in general, had a fabulous experience!! The team of employees and volunteers was awesome, ( Rob, this counts as an employee shout out review!!) working with great people, like Issam, Monica, Jo, Ana, Amelie, Jess, Gal and Pablo as well as Jani and Cristian!!!! I would reccomend the hostel in a heartbeat!
