Heads up fellow travelers! This is a nice place to make international friends. I'm so lucky to have met my life-long brother and sisters here! The tasks are not difficult but communication is the key. Make sure to check your rota with the management and tell them in advance if you need a day off. The food provided here is fine (not so good for vegetarians though); two meals a day and you can keep left overs for yourself. Shared dorms can be great or bad depending on whom your roommates are. I stayed in a 4 bed room with bunkbeds(which I don't enjoy), but most rooms are better than this.

I had a positive experience. Everything they offered was delivered, and they stuck to the schedules. The managers are respectful-friendly. The offer mentioned that you get 2 meals, but most days they actually provided 3, which was a pleasant surprise! My volunteer work ended on September 17th, and I made sure to notify them 9 days in advance. We discussed my days off (September 16th-17th),making sure everything was fine in the end, just as I needed since I had an upcoming trip. All of this, once approved, was documented on the platform to keep everything clear and avoid any possible confusion

My experience at the hostel was great, is the work hard? It depends on you, how you handle it and what you are used to, everything described at the beginning was fulfilled, the team rooms are comfortable, also the whole administrative team was always attentive and grateful for what we did and what to say about the kitchen! Thanks to the guys for their positive and cheerful attitude when serving the meals and to the chef for the delicious desserts. It is a great place where you can enjoy a lot of touristic places, like museums, theatres, parks and pubs.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. The location is very good, close to the tube, parks and tourist attractions. The rooms are good, comfortable and we used to share them with 2 volunteers or guests. We had breakfast and dinner (or lunch at weekends) and everything was very tasty 😋 The staff are very good and the team of volunteers is great and we help each other :) thank you everyone for my experience in London 🎡

My experience at the hostel was great! It was my first time volunteering, and everyone was really kind. My work shift had two days off, which I used to explore outside the city. The housekeeping work can be tiring if you're not used to it, but it's easy to learn and manageable. The best part was the meals, they have vegetarian options, so I didn't have to worry about food and saved a lot. The other volunteers were great, and the atmosphere was really friendly. Volunteering at the hostel was a magical experience for me, one I would undoubtedly repeat. I met incredible people, each day bringing something new and exciting. Living so close to everything in London gave me plenty of opportunities to explore the city and enjoy some sightseeing. It's a fantastic experience for digital nomads, and as a bonus, I made friendships that I will cherish for a long time.

I am very grateful for the opportunity that the hostel offered me, I spent a wonderful month in which I enjoyed London and met fantastic people, the work can be hard sometimes if you are not used to it but it is worth it, the place is good and the location . It is unbeatable, I would recommend it and repeat it a thousand times, you meet people from all over the world and it is a wonderful city. looking forward to returning very soon!!

It was a good experience to meet and connect with people from different countries, the volunteers are amazing, the work can be hard sometimes but it depends, it is a team effort. The location is excellent for getting to know London, close to Paddington station. I have good memories.

This was my second time volunteering for the hostel and I appreciated being part of the team again. The recent expansion to two buildings (the hostel purchased the hotel next door) significantly increased the workload for both management and volunteers. While additional volunteers have arrived, most days come with high expectations for the workload. The General Manager does his best with the resources available and genuinely cares about the volunteers. It's a fun atmosphere overall, thanks to the other team members, and the dinners provided are very good. I look forward to volunteering again.
