Had an amazing experience at the hostel, a great place for your first try at Worldpackers. The work was simple and the hours never went over, as well as all the volunteers happy to help each other out. Katie, Derek and the other volunteers were all very welcoming and it definitely made the experience one to remember. We had a lot of fun doing movie nights and going out as a group. the hostel is a great location, with the train station very close to the hostel for your days off. There are also a lot of beautiful walks and scenery. Would recommend it to anyone.

I loved my time in the hostel. Katie, Derek, Jo and Rich are all super lovely, welcoming and helpful. Hours are respected and there's a good culture of helping each other out. the hostel is beautiful and there's close access to hikes, shops and the train station for day trips. The volunteers were all friendly and we'd do trips, run activities, have family dinners and go to the pub together. I would also absolutely recommend the Scottish dance classes run by Linda, everyone there is very friendly and the classes are fun.

Our experience at the hostel was excellent. From day one we felt super comfortable — the hostel is spacious, always clean, and really well organized. The schedules are flexible, the town is quiet and surrounded by nature, which makes it perfect to disconnect and enjoy the experience. Both the team, the other volunteers, and the guests were great. I'm very grateful for the opportunity and definitely recommend this place.

Our experience at the hostel was amazing. The town is peaceful, charming, and surrounded by nature. The hostel itself is spacious, always clean, and very well organized. The job was exactly as agreed, and the tasks were not difficult at all. The team and group of volunteers were great, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity and the experience. We definitely recommend this place to enjoy the scenery and everything it has to offer.

I had a really great experience in the hostel. Chris and Derek are welcoming and kind, and the work is easy. On your days off, you can visit other cities, go hiking, or cook together. There are plenty of beautiful hikes around the hostel, and you can also run around the loch or go swimming! It was my first experience, and I don't regret it at all. Thanks for everything!

The hostel was a home for me! I met amazing and lovely people along the way and had the opportunity to visit a lot of beautiful and breathtaking spots around Scotland. This was my first ever experience and I highly recommend the hostel to everyone who wants live an amazing, fun and exciting experience. The staff is really friendly and welcoming and the task are well explained, flexible and easy to follow. The hostel is a really lovely and warm place to be and it has an incredible environment to get to know both other volunteers or guests. I would definitely come back! :)

I had a great time at the hostel. The work is easy and the working hours are respected. The staff is really nice and helpful and since the hostel owners run other hostels in Scotland it was possible to explore other locations as well.

I spent a month in the hostel, I enjoyed my time here and I would recommend it. It's such a lovely little town where you can do lots of hiking, eat ice cream, go to the café or sit near the lake. You can also go to other cities like Glasgow or Edinburgh by bus during your days off, or you can just relax in the hostel which feels just like home. Everyone I met was kind and I will remember them. Thanks to everyone for everything, especially Derek, who is a cool person with good recommendations who wears cool t-shirts !!

The hostel is a magical place. One I never imagined I'd visit. It's a small but very picturesque town, with beautiful views and charming Scottish buildings. A gem in the Highlands. Very close to Edinburgh, which you can visit on your days off, and they also allow you to stay in other hostels in the same chain. I loved the flexibility, the beautiful work environment, and I made friends. The owners, Jo and Richard, are very friendly and always willing to make sure you have a good volunteer experience. I loved meeting them and stayed at their beautiful hostel I will miss you very much

My stay at the hostel was perfect! Derek, Ruthie, Rich and Jo are all amazing and so welcoming. I felt so at home here, the hours are always respected, I met amazing people, and got to see so much of the local area. I'd recommend this experience to everyone. Thankyou :)
