My experience in this volunteer was cool, I met several volunteers from this hostel and from another hostel that I will take for life. The work is not difficult and I didn't have any problems with any other volunteer, guest or manager, the manager was always polite and clear with my tasks, but that's my experience. Some residents are ignorant and disrespectful and treat you badly. As a point of improvement, I think that better training should be given, since it is the volunteers who pass the training on to each other and sometimes end up having divergent information.

The hostel is great! Good location and plentiful food. I just think that there was not a good training for the new volunteers, I got lost several times with the activities because sometimes a person told me to do the job in a certain way and days later it was other... One more thing that I didn't like at the hostel were some guests and 2 night porters who are extremely rude and troublesome. Anyway, the experience was very good and I recommend it.

My time at the hostel was a great experience! The place is well located, has a good structure and the rooms are large and well equipped. Everything that was agreed on the platform was followed during my month of volunteering. Serving dinner for guests allowed me to bond and practice my English (and the food are great!). Some guests are VERY difficult to deal with, but that won't get in the way of my vision of the place. My only reservation would be the common areas... a wider and more open place is needed for the volunteers to interact. But I recommend the place. Thank you the hostel!

The location is very good, there is an underground nearby, many shops, very good! The hostel is a nice, comfortable place, I just believe that it should have an extra place for everyone to live together, but it is really very good, I loved my experience there! The hostel staff is very nice, Flávio cooks very nice people, Laurent too, he made some things more flexible for me, thank you very much!

I'm very grateful for this experience, I met wonderful people at the hostel. Everything they promised was fulfilled and I would definitely recommend it. I'm going back to my country happy to have been here. Thank you for everything.

My experience at the hostel was good. The work is good, and the food is fine, and the location is perfect. Nothing happens beyond what is agreed and described here at Worldpackers, sometimes even better. The facilities are ok, the staff is very good and always willing to help. However, it is worth considering that this place is not a hostel, it is a guest house, so interactions with guests are minimal and sometimes there can be disagreements due to their lack of consideration, but there is nothing that Shakita, Laurent, Sam or another team member cannot resolve.

It was an amazing experience here. I didn't want to leave the place because I met many nice people. My main objective to this trip was improve my English, when I started to speak with guest, others volunteers I got confidence myself. The manager always pays attention to you and your work, I think it's important for have a good experience. When I had question always someone there was to answer me and have a solution.

Fantastic experience! I loved my stay at the hostel Sandman House in Bayswater. The location is perfect, close to Hyde Park, 300 meters from the subway station, and the shops on the next street have everything we need. The structure of the hostel is excellent, clean environments, large rooms with a good closet, good meals too. The work is easy to do and there will certainly be time left to enjoy London. The staff are very kind and flexible, even with those who don't speak perfect English like me. Guests are mostly workers and students from all over the world, good and friendly people. Anyw
