What a unique experience it was to volunteer at Lorenzo's vineyard. I learned so much about what a complex process it is involved to produce the winery. This has been the most physically demanding work I've done in my trip but it was also very rewarding. It was truly an immersive experience. I learned some delicious recipes from signora Laura, talked about history with Peter, and spoke Italian everyday with Lorenzo. I recommend this experience to anyone that wants a true exposure to the Italian way of life out on the countryside.

It is a truly immersive experience, get ready to put your work boots on and get to farming, the family is absolutely amazing, I would go back just for the food alone. Lorenzo keeps you laughing, and Laura is amazing

I had a really good experience meeting new people and getting to work in the field harvesting the grapes. It was fun. Lorenzo and his parents are really nice people and Laura makes the best pasta.

This was my first Worldpackers experience ever and I cannot thank the family of Lorenzo, Peter and Laura enough for this amazing opportunity. Certainly, the work is super hard as you have to get better, stronger and faster especially during the harvest, otherwise Sergeant Lorenzo would be pretty unhappy. The shower might not be pleasurable as there is a lack of water pressure and decent temperature (sometimes). Though, I have a lot during my stay here as well as improved my Italian talking to my nonna Laura, is a wonderful cook and awe-inspiring woman. Overall a grape experience :)

This experience was a once in a lifetime! I'm so lucky I got the chance to experience what it's like to harvest grapes, and the intricate process behind the scenes of what It takes to make such amazing the winery. Lorenzo and his family were beyond welcoming and loving, seriously. Always will help you out and make you feel like your at home. This place was my home. The food laura made was delicious! And the work hours were respected and fair. It was a good collaboration between volunteers and host and everyone was working together as a whole. If you like community living this is definitely the place

I truly had a wonderful experience at Lorenzo's. Him and his family are very lovely and welcome people, allowing me to feel right at home. I created friendships and memories that I will cherish forever. The work can be hard, vigorous, and tiring. Be prepared to get dirty, physical, and sweaty. After long shifts on the vineyard we gathered together to share delicious homemade meals, the winery, and stories. There was always a lot of fun being had, and I can't wait to come back for a visit. Thank you for everything.

Had the most amazing time working and living at Lorenzo and his family's beautiful home in Gavi. It was such a nice family vibe and we had so much fun together as a group sharing stories and laughing over some delicious home made Italian food and the winery after a days work. The work if the fields was tough at times but that was expected and after a huge bowl of pasta you would forget the harder parts of the job. It was such an incredible experience with an incredible family if you are willing to work hard and commit to get the job done.

My experience at Lorenzo's was truly amazing. The work is hard and tiring and hot showers are a rarity, so be prepared for that. But apart from that i felt at home from the beginning, lorenzo is a great host and laura's food is always incredibly delicious. I met lots of wonderful and interesting people that I would've never met in my normal life, for which I am incredibly grateful. Thanks for this time, looking forward to come back one day.

An absolutely amazing experience, met lots of cool people, especially Lorenzo. His family was very fun and interesting, and extremely lively. We ate some incredible food and learned about the history of it, whilst also drinking some phenomenal the winery. The work was tiring but it flew by with the good company and a bit of music. we had plenty of spare time after working to do whatever we liked and we were surrounded by nature. Lorenzo is a lovely man with an incredible project and I highly recommend it.

Locky is really good he help us really good ,always do everything is the best way possible. Honest fair respectfully so I can not ask better helper than him.
I really really raccomand him.
I was very like to host him.

My stay with Lorenzo was incredible, they make you feel part of the family from moment one, the work is not complicated, the food is too delicious and it is an incredible place.
