Staying in Gavi with Lorenzo's family was one of my favorite experiences, ever. I loved having meals with Laura and Peter and felt at home the moment I got there. I was not used to working with plants but the work is easily learnable and was therapeutic to work together around nature. I learned some Italian and made some great friends in a beautiful environment, 100% would go back!

I really enjoy my stay in Gavi. Lorenzo, Laura and Peter were full of life and generosity. Sharing their home and delicious food with the volunteers. The work can be repetitive however it is in a beautiful location and provides time to think. I really enjoyed the pace, long days but short weeks, early starts and late dinner but plenty of nap time. Loved hanging out with the dogs and made some really strong friendships with the other volunteers, lots of interesting people and stories. Would love to come back one day!

The experience on the farm was a great learning experience since I hadn't had a rural experience, it helped me connect with nature and learn much more closely about the entire grape process. Lorenzo is a great host who from the beginning explains the tasks you must perform, the stay is very good, in addition to the fact that the food is delicious, you will learn about the Italian culture. Lorenzo, Peter and Laura are a wonderful family that will make you feel at home. If you are a dedicated person, hard worker, this will be a wonderful experience.

Had an absolutely amazing time with Lorenzo, Laura, Peter and my little world packer family in Gavi. The work hours can feel long sometimes, but there's plenty of time off to do lots in the afternoons and weekends which absolutely makes the work worth it. The weeks go super quickly and I ended up deciding to stay an extra week which I am very glad I did. Food is excellent and the family really make the volunteers feel at home. Three of us celebrated birthdays while here and everyone went to an amazing effort to make the days/ week special. Highly recommend this experience to others 😊

My stay with Lorenzo, Laura and Peter was one of the best experiences I've had, the fields are beautiful and big, the opportunity to get in touch with the nature is amazing, the work can get a bit difficult sometimes and you need to make a physic effort, but it totally worth it, the lunch and dinner are delicious and with the other volunteers, Lorenzo and his family you can really feel like you're at home :)) .

My first time volunteering at the vineyard was amazing. Lorenzo, Peter and Laura are very friendly and it feels like home. I met great people and we used to cook some traditional dishes together. Apart from learning more about permaculture practices and Italian culture, my Italian also got better. Although the work in the vineyard is difficult, there is always delicious food and fun :) If you're willing to learn about the winery and like country living, I highly recommend it!

My experience at Lorenzo's the winery was incredible. I stayed for a good time and had the opportunity to feel like part of the family. I improved my Italian with Laura, Lorenzo's mother, and learned to cook pasta and focaccia with Peter, Lorenzo's father. Communication was always very clear, and they always made the volunteers feel at home. If you read his profile description, you will be no doubts or issues. Hot water at agreed times once a day, heavy work in the vineyard. But lots of good food, conversation, and fun. I can't wait to go back again. I really loved my experience. Thank you!

My stay at the vineyard was really good! I met a lot of amazing people and it's a fun place to be with a good group. The work is hard so you have to be fit. You are well fed and the countryside is beautiful. The only thing is the house can be unclean but it's completely fine to live in and it's a farm so it's to be expected. Lorenzo, Peter and Laura are very welcoming and it feels more and more like home the longer you stay. I would definitely recommend it if you're willing to work hard and want to enjoy the countryside and I would love to come back sometime soon!

Kooper is one of the best helper of this year I really can recommend him. Strong, smart, hard worker, in time and do everything in the best ways possible. He help us in the house and good conversation and company.
