Hey fellow travelers! 🌍 Welcome to Dink's Place - the proud winner of Hostelworld's Hoscar Award for the Best Hostel in Croatia for 2024. If you are open-minded, a fast learner, funny, responsible, a people-lover, and a team player, don't hesitate to contact us! For the full month of October, we are urgently searching for one new person to join our team, mostly to help out at the reception and social guiding, with a bit of housekeeping help.

Staying at the hostel was a rewarding experience. The facilities and leadership allowed for a steady and welcoming transition into the volunteer role. The volunteer experience combines both easy-going island vibes with well managed professionalism. The accommodation is clean and roomy, and food provided allows for a level of freedom that makes the experience feel liberating. The perks of the boat party and discounts are FANTASTIC, work feels rewarding and makes the days off feel relaxing and fun! An immense level of respect for all the work that goes into making the hostel so great! 10/10

Volunteering at Dinks place was truly one of my favourite experiences! Hvar is stunning and the hostel was really well looked after and incredibly social allowing me to always meet new travellers. Dink was a great boss and I loved everyone I worked with. The volunteering also included all my meals and activities such as the boat party, which made it even better. Id love to come to come back and would recommend to anyone interested in working and living in paradise!

My experience there was so good that I initially planned to stay for 1 month only, but it ended up being 6 months. Starting from the place that is very cozy and really feels like a home. Luca is one of the most sensible and friendly persons I've ever met, and Dink is a great guy who cooks incredibly tasty food. All the staff that I worked with were very nice people, special mention to the lovely Kata that has been working there for 5 years and has a great eye for details, you can see how much love she puts into everything she does. The island is full of beautiful beaches and things to do.

It's hard to put into words the feeling of knowing you've met a friend for life. Rodrigo spent the whole season with us, and it was an unforgettable experience. He’s incredibly responsible, hard-working, and always there to lend a hand. His skills, whether in housekeeping, or at reception, are truly top-notch. But above all, we feel so lucky to have gotten to know him as a person and a friend. We’re already looking forward to next season, to work and share more memories with him. Hello the hostel😃! More than a review, it's a summary of a summer in the best hostel in Croatia. Feeling at home from a distance is the best thing that can happen to you, and it happens here. Their manager Luca is the best🙌, as is their staff. Kata (loving you, beautiful Serbia😜), Rodrigo and Pablo contributing the Latin quota (idols of life 🇧🇷🇺🇾), Sin and Inés 🫶, Louie are literally the same as the little prince character, and even the owner is a personage🫶, so much so that the place has his name. Thanks a lot to the hostel and Dinko for the great summer experience volunteering!

Victor was so responsible and a great team player. His tasks were to keep our hostel safe and clean during the night shifts and he was doing it with great responsibility and great communication skills towards our guests and their needs. As a colleague, he was always there to make us laugh and to cook tasty meals for all of us. We enjoyed every single moment working and living with Vic and we hope that he'll come back next season and bring us his happiness and great laughs. Thanks Vic and enjoy your travels :*

My experience in the hostel was amazing, meeting new people and enjoying the island. The hostel has a very good social activity and the staff was really nice with me. The location is very close to the center and the views amazing. Just say thank you so much to Dink and Luca for give me the opportunity to be part of the staff and enjoy time with all of you.

We were so lucky to have Pablo working and living with us. He is such an awesome and knowledgeable person to talk with about everything, team player and among everything hard worker and perfectionist. He was responsible for housekeeping and daily maintaining of the hostel facilities and he did it 11/10 which is visible on our reviews. Nothing was hard for him and he was always there to help others and to jump in to cover some other roles in the hostel - great friend, perfect colleague, team player and awesome human being. It was a pleasure Pablito! Thanks for everything and see you next year:*
