Matthew and the team welcomed us very well, everyone is extremely kind. The work is easy, and if you have any questions, there's always someone to help. The New Forest near the hotel is definitely a plus! Overall, the experience was good, but I'm giving it 4 stars because I expected more opportunities to interact with other volunteers and practice English. However, due to the small space and the fact that it was just my partner and me during most of our stay, we didn't have that experience.

Thanks for your feedback. As you say, we are a very small place so only have accommodation for two volunteers, so when it is a couple who come to stay they are not going to be able to interact with other volunteers - but they can, of course, interact with our full time staff in the hotel and the tea room.

One thing above all is that all the staff and the owner are so kind, they really want to make you feel comfortable and I really appreacited that. However, personally, I would say that the volunteer wasn't working for me because I had other goals which was learning english and new skills, both were not possible to practice at the hotel. Again, for me it was a negative point but maybe for you It won't. The work is reasonable and is pretty flexible, the owner makes you fell valorized doing your work, which is nice. In general it was a good volunteer, but it will depend on what is your goal.

A experiência no the hotel foi incrível. A estrutura do hotel é muito boa para os voluntários - limpo, organizado, boa cama, boas toalhas. A comida é feita pelos próprios voluntários e o valor dado para comprar comida é suficiente. Roxxane e Huw são os gerentes e são pessoas incríveis. Eles são super jovens e não te deixam com dúvidas. Paul é a definição do gentleman britânico. Todo o staff (Holly, Beth e Ebony) é muito amável e te deixam muito à vontade. Eu recomendo DEMAIS! Espero voltar para visitar outras vezes! 🧡

It was a very pleasant experience, Huw teaches you a lot about the culture, food and recommends places you should visit. The town is small and very quiet, perfect for those people who like calm; If you want some fun you're going to have to take a train (the price of this varies during the day).

It was a lovely experience, Huw the manager is amazing as a person and all the local people super friendly and easygoing and the people there are very patient about our English and it was perfect to us can practice. Well it's amazing and if I can for sure I'll go back there! Feeling just grateful about that experience.

The hotel is the perfect place for anyone looking to improve their English. This was my second time volunteering here, this shows how incredible I think the place is. Thanks to Huw and Roxanne for the great work they have done on the place. The train station is less than 5 minutes walking from the hotel. The village is beautiful and welcoming.

My experience was really wonderfull, great option for people who want to improve their english, the school in the village has free english classes in january and september. Manager Huw is a very human person who does his best to help with everyone's needs, the international dinner night was very important to me, something I really enjoyed and sharing tips with volunteers. It was very pleasant to volunteer at the hotel. Huw, Roxanne and staff are very friendly. they are respectful of time and the assigned tasks are simple. Also the newforest is a beautiful place.

What a special experience I had at the hotel, the team is so friendly and patient and the work is very easy and relaxed, I really enjoyed being in this volunteering and Brockenhurst is a very beautiful place full of Nature and animals everywhere🦌, I hope to return to this wonderful place 😊

It was my first experience as a volunteer in a hotel and it was a really rewarding experience. From the first day I felt very welcome. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. Working hours are respected and the managers are always willing to help you. Brockenhurst is a lovely village and a good place if you want to practice your English.
