What a lovely experience I had. the hotel is located in the hearth of New Forest, perfect place to get in touch with nature and local culture. Supermarkets and the train station are around the corner, perfect day trips to the closest cities. Matthew is such amazing host and all the staff did everything to made me feel at home. The job was pretty easy going, even in busy days it didn't feel hard as the hotel is small. The schedule was always respected and there is plenty of free time. Also the weekly allowance is more than enough to have very good food. Loved this place!!!

It was nice to spend time at the hotel, Mathew is a really polite person, 45 pounds are provided for your weekly food expenses and you work an average of 2-3 hours a day. There is a big national park nearby, you can go if you like it

Matthew really is an incredible person, very sociable, friendly and really after all the work he has every day, he takes the time to see each other at least once every two weeks in order to culturally get to know the ideas of each of the volunteers. . Without a doubt an incredible experience, I will return, thanks to the entire kitchen and administrative team, I am infinitely grateful and I will always wish you the best. I had a great experience at the hotel. Everyone that works there is lovely! The working hours were respected, tasks included cleaning the rooms, making beds and vacuuming. Brockenhurst is a cute town and well connected with lots of walking trails to explore. Thank you for everything!

I have had an amazing experience where I have met some wonderful people. The staff members make you feel very comfortable from the beginning. Brockenhurst is a beautiful village that is very well connected to other locations and is an ideal place to learn or practice English. I would highly recommend this volunteer placement and would come back again!

My experience at the Thached Hotel has great. The work was not hard, and the hours were respected. They are also very accommodating and flexible.the hosts were nice and social. The village was small and quiet, good for a getaway from big city hubbub. And it's very easy to get to the bigger, more populated cities by train. So there is something for everyone. In the end, I recommend this hotel as a place to da workaway in.

This experience was super nice Mathew and the tea room made feel like a little home away from mine, I really enjoy my time there, the task are pretty easy, most of the time you are going to work with someone which make everything easier, they respect the time you have to work and I got a private room, I highly recommend this experience is you like the outdoors and something more calm the village is pretty quite and the forest is lovely, i got a weekly allowance which is enough for you, I had to cook for myself which is nice because you have and entire professional kitchen to do what you want

The hotel is in a beautiful town. We had fun meeting Ryan, the main housekeeper, the Tea Room team and David and Matthew. Everyone was friendly and welcoming

Matthew and the team welcomed us very well, everyone is extremely kind. The work is easy, and if you have any questions, there's always someone to help. The New Forest near the hotel is definitely a plus! Overall, the experience was good, but I'm giving it 4 stars because I expected more opportunities to interact with other volunteers and practice English. However, due to the small space and the fact that it was just my partner and me during most of our stay, we didn't have that experience.

Thanks for your feedback. As you say, we are a very small place so only have accommodation for two volunteers, so when it is a couple who come to stay they are not going to be able to interact with other volunteers - but they can, of course, interact with our full time staff in the hotel and the tea room.
