I had the most wonderful time volunteering at the hostel with my co volunteer Maiwenn! The community was very welcoming, and kind. The volunteer accommodations were cozy and comfortable. Maiwenn and I enjoyed every day working in the breakfast together and going on adventures after our shift. The location is perfect, being close to the Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and metro stations, in a nice area. I fell in love with Paris and its culture, the food at the hostel was very good every day and you could share any concerns or questions if you had. I am very grateful for my experience :)

I have spent the most incredible month imaginable at the hostel together with my co-volunteer Paola and it is safe to say that we enjoyed every second of it!!! We were welcomed into the community, talked to guests from all over the world during the Petit Déjeuner and shared so many beautiful moments together, whether that was during our working shift or during our free time in the heart of Paris. Every single day had a different adventure waiting for us and now we have countless funny, emotional and heartwarming stories to tell. Thank you again for everything, this experience was amazing ❤️

Mon séjour a été merveilleux, avec une ambiance agréable, une excellente nourriture, la meilleure localisation possible et des nouvelles relations inoubliables! J'ai pratiqué mon français avec la communauté et avec les clients (et parfois l'anglais aussi) et j'ai rencontré des personnes magnifiques. Je dois vraiment remercier l'auberge pour l'expérience unique et pour l'opportunité de découvrir Paris d'une manière très spéciale.

Mon séjour à the hostel a dépassé toutes mes espérances ! Dès le premier jour, je me suis sentie accueillie, écoutée et jamais jugée. Le travail demandé, en plus d'être bien organisé, n'a jamais été un fardeau et m'a laissé suffisamment de temps pour visiter et apprécier la ville. Le partage des repas a été le moyen idéal de m'immerger dans différentes cultures et de pratiquer mon français. Je souhaite à chacun d'avoir la chance et l'opportunité de vivre une telle expérience. My experience at the hostel couldn't have been better! From the very first day I was warmly welcomed and I was very touched by the shared meal with the community and our conversations! The work is definitely doable and very fair compared to what you get in return. Even though we had a relatively large number of technical problems, we were always able to find solutions that satisfied customers. The room is cozy and you have everything you need (even your own kitchen with fridge). Overall, I am extremely grateful to have met all of these special people and to have seen so much of Paris!

My experience at the hostel was more than great ! Right when I arrived I felt welcomed and at home. There central location in the city of love was amazing and the work was extremely fair for what I got in return. I met soo many amazing people, all the students are great and the brothers of the community were always willing to answer all my questions, help me out or just make jokes with me. I had a wonderful time also with my new friend, Greta, who was the other volunteer. All in all can I only recommend every minor to medium inconvenience was blown away from joy, amazing people and the city itse

Eu tive uma experiência incrível com a comunidade o hostel, todos me acolheram super bem e me fizeram sentir em casa. O trabalho foi super tranquilo, foi prazeroso fazer cada tarefa, principalmente tendo contato com pessoas do mundo inteiro, as quais passavam lá para se hospedar e acabava tendo uma troca cultural muito grande. Foi uma ótima oportunidade para aprender e desenvolver o francês. Eu agradeço de coração cada um que esteve comigo lá, super recomendo para todos que estão pensando em se aplicar, vale muito a pena, o hostel vai muito além de uma comunidade, eles se tornam uma família.

It was my first volunteering and I had an amazing experience, I felt at home in the hostel! The volunteer's room has everything you need (mini kitchen, bathroom and comfortable beds). The location is perfect! It's safe even at night and close to many tourist attractions. They welcomed me very well, very kind, respectful, and helpful for everything I needed. The cultural exchange with people from community was really nice and important for me. I will always remember the moments shared and I will never forget especially the very kind “Bonjour” from father Jean Valere ❤️
