What an enjoyable experience have I had at the hostel! The studio for volunteers is 100% comfortable - mini kitchen and bathroom included. It provides all the privacy you need. People were kind and helpful even after I broke my foot and couldn't do all the tasks I was supposed to - we found new things I could be helpful with together. Working hours are chill. The location is safe and from a walking distance to many touristic places. If you are vegetarian, though, you might have to be flexible with eating vegetables that have been cooked with meat, for example, or cook your own food.

The hostel was a treasure, which I'm so happy to have found, the people are amazing, caring and always respectful. I stayed for two months, and I didn't only make friends but I've made a family which I'll always remember, and of course I'll be back one day to see everyone again. I felt welcome from the beginning, and they always made me feel comfortable. I will never forget the long talks, the walks, and laughs. I will never forget these experience, I go back home with a bigger heart, full of new people I will never forget. The only thing I have to say is thank you for everything!

Le benevolat chez the hostel a été une expérience incroyable, j'ai rencontré des gens et des voyageurs, j'ai amélioré mon français, la communauté en général a été très gentille avec moi, les tâches sont faciles, J'ai vécu de nombreuses expériences incroyables, merci à toute la communauté, merci de m'avoir accueilli! To be honest, I don't have words to describe how nice it was! The work is fair, you will work together with the other volunteer and there is always someone ready to help you! The time schedule was always respected, so don't worry about this! Jean Valere, the volunteer responsible, is always there if you need something and is one of the kindest people you will ever meet! The food is very good, accommodation the same (it is very central). To be honest, for the work that you have to do and what you receive in exchange, I think it is one of the best opportunities! Hope you will enjoy!!

My experience at the hostel was great !!! Not only the Assumptionist community but also Maude was super welcoming and helped me feel comfortable and happy during my stay. I had a lot of fun working at breakfast with the students, which I already miss, living in the hostel and exploring Paris during my free time. The workload is super manageable and you have plenty of time to yourself. Overall, I met a lot of kind and funny people at the hostel, had great meals and memories that will last for a long long time. I can only recommend volunteering at the hostel :)

J'ai eu une expérience enrichissante à the hostel. Les membres de la communauté sont divers, gentils, sympas, coopératifs et on a partagé de bons moments autour des déjeuners et des dîners (qui sont toujours abondants). Le personnel de l'auberge est aussi très sympas. Le travail peut être un peu fatigant, surtout pour ceux qui sont peu habitués, mais il y a beaucoup de temps pour se reposer et explorer Paris (l'emplacement de l'auberge est parfait pour cela). Si vous parlez au moun un peu le français, cela peut faciliter l'expérience. Merci à tous de m'avoir si bien accueillie !

It is an incredible experience, the people are very friendly and make you feel at home. this work is OK, The key is to always give your best to receive the same from others (customers) the place is more than perfect, the location is key to living an experience like that of "Emily in Paris" They were really very patient with me, because my French was often not the best, but they always corrected me and taught me in the best way. This experience was all and more than I hoped for! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Paris, experience life with the Assumptionist Community or who wants to learn French! Above all the people are amazing, kind, and helpful, I made friends for life! The work is reasonable and not demanding, leaving more than enough time to discover the city, its impressive historical places, and its quaint little streets with charming cafes. The hostel is located in the heart of Paris, in the beautiful and chic 8th arrondissement with the Eiffel Tower just a leisurely walk away.

I am very grateful for this experience! I had a great time with the hostel's religious community and they made me feel very welcome. The work can be a little tiring sometimes, but it was all worth it. The location of the hostel is great and you can easily get around Paris during your free time. I hope to come back one day and wish the community all the best <3
