Black Swan was the perfect hostel for me as it was super social and fun with a lot going on, but not a party hostel. You basically get free dinner every night and the hostel has good facilities, a beautiful rooftop to relax and it's very centrally located. Everything is well organized, you're well instructed and always know what is expected of you. The tasks consist mainly of cleaning and housekeeping (with a couple more fun shifts like cooking dinner or taking guests to a flamenco show) which can be tiring but the amazing staff, city and vibe in the hostel definitely make it worth it!!

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Black Swan Sevilla! The tasks were among the easiest I've encountered, giving me plenty of time to enjoy the city and connect with other volunteers. The staff was incredibly attentive and supportive, always making me feel welcome and appreciated. Their positive energy created a great atmosphere, and I learned a lot from their hospitality skills. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly and well-organized volunteering experience!

It was my first hostel volunteering position and I felt like home, thanks to the patience and very good atmosphere within the team, including the housekeeping team with Nuri, Loli and Paki, the reception team and the volunteers group ! The tasks there are easy and you get plenty of time to discover Sevilla and the surrounding ! Thank you Diego for the opportunity to work with the best hostel team !

This was my first volunteer experience and i think it was a really great way for me to learn how everyone works together for a hostel to work and be a place people feel welcomed. You usually have 3 cleaning and 2 fun shifts, they give out the schedule 1-3 days before the new week and you can ask for certain free days or shifts you would prefer. They are very clear what is expected and if you're motivated to do your job correctly then everything is pretty chill. Over a longer time it can get stressful with a lot of people all the time, but the rooftop is a great place to recharge :)

I truly loved my experience at Black Swan Hostel! The hostel is very social and I loved being with the other volunteers. Everyone was very nice and welcoming at the hostel. There is always something to do every night and you will never be bored! Most of the tasks are cleaning and you don't usually get to do the flamenco events immediately. The cleaning wasn't too bad, although housekeeping can be tiring. I did find some of the staff quite strict on making sure you are always cleaning the whole shift even if there isn't anything else to be done. I wouldn't trade this experience for the world!

I am immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to volunteer at Black Swan for three months. My time at the hostel was transformative and educational, the relationships I formed with both staff and travelers truely one of a kind. I am especially thankful to the Balck Swan Team who welcomed me with open arms, guiding and supporting me through every challenge. The afternoons of tapas and the nights of deep conversation will remain etched in my memory. Thank you again to the entire team and all the volunteers who I met for allowing me to be part of such a vibrant and welcoming community

First time in europe + volunteering—quite frankly, i will Never trade this experience for anything else. the community in this space is remarkable, u WILL meet loads of amazing, fun international friends! ive also learned so much spanish!! sevilla is such a beautiful & affordable city with lots of other nearby cities for day-trips. schedules r always shared ahead of time so plan your off-days well❗ lilė, saray, matteo, harry, ari, edo, juan, aleks, loli, alejandra, viviane—you all painted my sevilla chapter with hues of vivid, vibrant memories. i will forever hold this Moment close & dear ❤️

Volunteering at Black Swan has been a great experience that I'll miss! The work is divided into different 5 shifts and it's easy to get a hold of the tasks after a short amount of time. The schedules are also provided a couple of days before the start of the week, making it easy to manage your free time or plan day trips around. The hostel is also a perfect environment if you want to learn some Spanish or practice it with staff members or guests. The staff is nice and helpful, and the time with my fellow volunteers has been truly unforgettable and fun, it was a pleasure to meet everyone! <3
