I honestly can't recommend the hostel enough! The atmosphere is so welcoming and truly feels like home away from home. The Greek staff is the BEST and don't even get me started on how well Ioannis does when choosing the volunteers. I left this experience having made lifelong friends amongst the other volunteers and many of the guests who stayed there. Sad to leave but excited to one day visit as a guest;)

I loved my experience at the hostel. Yorgos and Pavlos are the besttttt and I couldn't have asked for a better WP experience. They made me and Katie feel so at home with our new the hostel besties ❤️. The work was chill and the shifts were flexible, could not recommend enough. Will miss the hostel sooooo much 💔! Had a great experience here and would definitely recommend. The work is as described and they are flexible so you can get to explore Crete & all it has to offer! The hostel is pretty chill but also very social:)

One of my best experiences volunteering, I felt at home, very good work environment, flexible and easygoing overall. The manager Yorgis, Maria and the Pavlos, made the experience for me, from the crete tips, fun conversations up at the bar and the occasional goats milk from Yorgis home, it was a one of a kind stay :) I'll be sure to stop by next time I visit crete!

The hostel is a perfect hostel to volunteer at, you'll be able to meet the city of heraklion and the whole island of Crete. The job is fair and you have plenty of free time to enjoy the place. Yorgis and Pavlos make the shifts easy and fun, and are great supervisors. overall I highly recommend volunteering here. 🙌🏻

The hostel is a lovely place to live with a gorgeous rooftop! Yorgos was very welcoming and Palvos was awesome. The work was easy and it was nice having a couple of days off per week to explore other parts of the island. However, the volunteer bedroom had no exterior windows which took me by surprise. Other than that the experience was solid.

Maria and Yorgos are truly welcoming and kind people. The tasks are easy and the working hours were always respected. Their hostel is one oft the best ones I've been to yet and you'll feel very homey in a short time. Defenitly recommended to anyone who wants to explore beautiful Crete! (Only remark: Don't go after october, the season is over and it can get quite dead and a bit lonely maybe. ;))

I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped foot in the hostel. Everyone was so nice and the tasks were simple and easy to learn. You also get plenty of time to explore the island! This truly become my home away from home in only a few weeks 🥰

I loved my time at the hostel! I met great people and my work hours were flexible. Yorgos does everything to give you time to explore the island and is always there to help if needed. When you met maria you will see the hostel is her baby, she is very passionated. Overall I had a great time with great people!:)

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel. Ioannis and Yiorgos were so nice and very communicative and flexible. They always made sure I was feeling okay about the responsibilities and were available at any time for questions. Pavlos on the team, was so fun to work with and helped create a great environment for the guest. I really liked the accommodation of me and my friend having our own room apart from the guest. I wish I could have stayed longer, thank you for everything!
