The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience. The tasks were fairly easy - doing the beds, cleaning, checking guests in, bartending - the hours were respected and the schedule was flexible. I had plenty of time to visit the island and met wonderful people! The only downside was the volunteers room (no window, no AC, no natural light : only a vent, a fan and a single lightbulb; the light from the guests' bathroom came through the vent; guests were knocking on our door a lot....) which made it hard for me and the other volunteer to rest. Overall, it was a good experience.

Yorgos, Pavlos and Maria are great hosts in a beautiful hostel that is very central in Heraklion. Me and my boyfriend volunteered for a month and had a great time exploring Crete! The hours were respected, although the times we worked changed day to day. The tasks are as stated and allows you to socialise with the guests which was great. We did sleep in one of their 8-bed rooms and not a private room, but as it wasn't high season we didn't have many other guest in the room with us. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hostel!! Thank you for an amazing experience!!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel! Yorgis and Pavlos are a great time and are very appreciative of the help they get from volunteers. The hours were respected, and they were very flexible if you wanted certain days off. A lot of this work exchange is sitting around in reception and waiting for guests to come to check them in, so this work exchange might become super boring for you if you don't bring a hobby or something like school to do during this time. Luckily, I had lots of homework to get done during this time so I really enjoyed my time here!

This was my first world packers experience and I am so grateful it was! yorgis, ionnis, pavlos, and maria made me feel right at home. The tasks were very manageable, and they were very accommodating with the schedule. The hostel is very clean and in a great location. I really did not want to leave, the month I spent there was so amazing and I feel like a part of the family.

I loved my time here! Yorgis, Ioannis, and Pavlos were all so great and very helpful! I felt as though they were very helpful with advice, scheduling flexibility, and general kindness! I felt very supported here and would recommend it to anyone!! My time on Crete was beloved and I will cherish it always! Thank you guys for everything! :)

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience! It was definitely great, the tasks are easy and hours aren't bad. The room I stayed in was a little stuffy, but definitely not anything worth complaining about. Heraklion is a great city, and there are good tours that go out into other parts of Crete. I highly recommend staying here :)

I've had the best experience!! I only stayed for two weeks but I didn't want to leave. Iorgos and Pavlos make you feel at home. The schedules were respected and were flexible if you needed something. The job is easy and gives you plenty of time to go around the city after your shift. Highly recommend it!!
