This was my first time using worldpackers, and I had such a wholesome experience! Dave is super friendly and the work hours were very flexible! During my spare time, the other volunteers and I would watch movies together, bake, do arts and crafts and go hiking (shoutout to a certain sarcastic Belgium volunteer called Riet ♥️🤭)! Overall, this place feels like a second home and 10/10 recommend! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⛰️🏞️ Alsooo this place has amazing free tea and hot chocolates hehe ☕🍵 And make sure to bring blueberries because Dave likes blueberries and lasagna 😂🫐🍝

Staying in the hostel was a really good experience, the manager David is very helpful when planning the working days if you want specific days off, and usually offers an extra day off if theres room in the schedule. The hostel itself is really cozy and has a perfect location in the city.

I had a wonderful time in the hostel. David made us feel very welcome, the work was easily doable and it was really nice getting to know other volunteers. We also had enough free time to explore, Scotlands nature is beautiful.

Working at the hostel was a very enriching experience. The work is easy and even fun since you do it with the other volunteers. Speaking of - I met the funniest and nicest people there! Not only the volunteers but David too. He really cares much about the wellbeing of everyone and is extremely flexible with managing the days off. I would love to come back one day. It felt like a second home. Happy Days!

Volunteering in the hostel was amazing. David is super kind and really makes you feel at home. The tasks are clear and easy, nothing stressful at all, it's a very relaxed place. The other volunteers are also wonderful. Honestly, if you're thinking about coming here, do it. You'll have a great experience, and I truly recommend it :)

It was an incredible experience in the hostel. The manager, David, is friendly, helpful and was very patient with my English, always trying to help me understand. The work is simple and relaxed, and the place is beautiful, surrounded by nature. There are markets, cafés and fast food outlets nearby, which makes things much easier. I felt very welcome and at home during my stay. I made some good friends, enjoyed my time here and hope to return one day. :)

My experience at the hostel has been nothing short of fantastic. Working with David has been incredibly easy and he is very clear about the hours, days, and expectations for the work volunteers are tasked with. While the facilities are not new, the hostel is very clean making the living situation extremely relaxing and comfortable. In addition, the location of the hostel is very convenient as it is only about a 10 minute walk to the grocery stores and the town centre. I could not recommend this place more.

This was my first volunteering experience and it was truly positive. the hostel and its surroundings are surrounded by nature, offering peace, tranquility, and countless trekking routes with beautiful landscapes. The hostel is cozy and welcoming; I felt very comfortable during my stay. Tasks are simple, and the work schedule is well organized, giving plenty of time to explore. David is friendly and attentive, making sure you feel at ease. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a rewarding volunteering experience in nature.

Este foi o meu décimo voluntariado e um dos meus favoritos. A cidade é muito bonita e tem diversas opções para quem gosta de fazer caminhada. O trabalho é bem tranquilo e desenvolvido em poucas horas. Além do café da manhã os voluntários recebem reembolso de até 35 £ por semana, por produtos comprados no supermercado, (o valor vai depender de quantos dias forem trabalhados na semana). Os integrantes da equipe foram muito paciente com o meu inglês iniciante, muito simpáticos e prestativos. Vou sentir saudade 🥰
