La casa fue para mí un lugar lindo y me recibió muy bien. Las imágenes están desactualizadas y la habitación de voluntarios es pequeña, pero sigue siendo un espacio agradable. Lo mejor fue la paciencia y la amabilidad con la que Joseph me explicó todo. Pese a mi dificultad con el idioma, se tomó el tiempo necesario para mostrarme todos los espacios y enseñarme cómo hacer las tareas, que eran muy sencillas y no llevaban demasiado tiempo. Además, cuando le informé que debía irme mucho antes de lo que habíamos acordado, no tuvo ningún problema y fue muy comprensivo. ¡Thank you Joseph!

Una experiencia inolvidable. Mis compañeras eran súper majas y divertidas, me sentí como en casa. Las horas de trabajo están bien y no es complicado realizar la faena. He conocido a muchísima gente de diferentes países y practicado bastante el inglés. Al principio es un poco complicado entender el acento de Liverpool, pero según pasan los días te vas adaptando.

I really enjoyed my experience here. I have been here for a month and with this being my third time volunteering at a hostel, I really did enjoy this experience. Please note that the manager and owner do operate in a bit more of a hands off manner, this means it would be more suitable for a volunteer who is proactive and has less need for supervision. They give support where needed but the more self sufficient you are, the more you will thrive volunteering here. Both the owner and the manager are really nice. I hope to collaborate again with them in the future.

It was my first volunteering. It was a great experience for me and I learned a lot. The environment was very comfortable, the tasks were of a medium level but could be done in the requested time per day. The host and the staff were super attentive and always cared about my well-being, nothing was ever missing. I highly recommend volunteering with them and I will definitely come back one day.

Had an absolute ball thoroughly being here. I was attending a college course for nine months and Liverpool, staying here helped me out a lot. Enjoyed myself and tasks are simple, with a lot of time to enjoy the city. Made a lot of life time friends in Liverpool. My experience was positive and you learnt a lot. And Liverpool is a wonderful city and it's very close to my heart. Tysm 💕

This is my second time at the hostel, and it has been absolutely wonderful. The tasks are easy and the shifts are always respected. The hostel is cozy and welcoming, it really feels like a home away from home. Tim and Kate are amazing hosts, always looking out for your well-being and making sure everyone feels comfortable. Liverpool is such a lovely and charming city, full of history, music, and friendly people. I'm so grateful for the chance to come back to this hostel and I really hope I can return soon!

Volunteering at the hostel was truly an incredible experience. Tim and his family are incredibly kind, friendly and always available to help with anything you need. It was during this experience that I discovered how much I like working with hospitality. One important note: You need to feel comfortable interacting with the guests and be nice to them. Providing a 5 star experience is something Tim really values, and being confident in your communication is the key.
