I had a wonderful time at the hostel the hours were usually way less then said and while that leaves more time to explore it does lead to not getting paid as much, which I was totally fine with since I was only there to explore Taipei , which is a wonderful city and the other traveler's and volunteers are super nice!

This is one of the cleanest and friendliest hostels I've ever stayed at! I loved my time here. Stone, Carol and Tim were all so accommodating and kind.

This was one of the best volunteer positions so far, I highly recommend this! The staff are so friendly and the work isn't hard at all, just the usual housekeeping duties; and if you finish earlier, you can leave and therefore have more time to explore :) It's in good location as it's just a 5 min walk from the nearest train the hostel and even though it may look dilapidated from the outside, the interior is super cozy and clean. Us volunteers stay in the mixed 12 bed dormitory: the room is quite spacious and the curtains offer a lot of privacy; it looks exactly the same as in the pictures.

I was in the hostel only for 2 weeks due to my visa length but that was enough to make so many wonderful memories! The owner and other employees are very friendly and sweet people. The shifts and task are clearly explained on very first day so you know what you have to do for the entire stay. They even accepted my request to give day off together so I can explore more of Taiwan. The location of the hostel is right next to the hostel which made so easy to travel anywhere in Taiwan. Thank you so much for wonderful experience, definitely recommended to other travellers!!

The hostel work is easy to do and the hostel staff were super friendly! Together with the other volunteers it really felt like a little family. It is possible that you have to commute to another hostel of the same branch (30min door to door) and help out there instead. On your days off it is easy to do day trips and see other attractions, as the location is super convenient. I for sure can recommend the hostel as a host!

Oh it was such a great time staying volunteering at the hostel. It has a great location for exploring the city. The tasks are straightforward and exactly what they say. The supervisors are relaxed and caring as they guide you through the responsibilities. I had a bunch of fun with the other volunteers and the hosts. They were always down for a conversation, tips for exploring the city or even hanging out after. Loved it!!!

I enjoyed working in this hostel. Duties include making the beds and cleaning the common area and it usually takes few hours to finish. The staff members are friendly and also helped us to finish the tasks faster. Tim, Jims, and Stone are pretty chill to work with. They treated me well during my stay. I definitely would come back here if time permits. Overall, it was a great experience. This is a perfect place to volunteer at due to its close proximity to tourist attractions. Xie xie May Rooms! :-)
