I had a great stay here and can definitely recommend everyone to apply for this position. The hostel is located in a calm and beautiful rural area, perfectly located to hike along the coast. The required tasks are simple and the workload - depending on the number of volunteers - is reasonable.

I had a very nice stay here. The surrounding nature is incredible. It's a very relaxed hostel it's really not much work and you'll have enough free time. It's a very calm area tho, busses stop driving past 6pm and the next town is a 30-40 minutes walk away that's the only thing that could be a bit annoying sometimes.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The people I met were amazing, the hosts will always help you if you need anything and the atmosphere in the hostel is very cozy and welcoming. The work is really reasonable and easy to get used to and you have enough time off to explore the beautiful landscape directly next to the hostel, which I really enjoyed. I would really recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet and relaxed place in the midst of beautiful nature!

It was easily the most beautiful location …ever!! Never gets old. Very chilled experience here, lovely to meet a variety of travellers along the way. Jacelyn and Andre are always there for any questions or concerns. Felt very comfortable!

Had one of the best moments of my whole travel / life. Met friends for life and also a lover :) Andre and Jacey are super nice and help you with whatever you need. I definitely recommend the experience to anyone. The place is really close to the hostel and the people in town are really nice and friendly Thank you Andre and Jacey for everything :))

I had an amazing time here at the hostel! The owners are very kind and understanding. The work was reasonable and simple. My stay here allowed me to connect with travelers from around the world and I met some people that I'm going to keep in contact with for a long time. I definitely recommend this volunteer experience. The location is a few minutes walk from beautiful views. The hostel is a 35min walk from town. The only negative thing I'd have to say is the public transportation. It stops at 5/6pm and doesn't start again until 8am so keep that in mind when booking flights.

Had an amazing experience volunteering at Andre and Jacey's hostels. They are warm and welcoming, the work is reasonable and they are flexible to support your local travel plans. This experience enables you to connect to a wide range of international/national travellers and also locals nearby. The area is amazing to explore, so many beautiful walks and there are buses right outside the hostels to get around with too. I loved my time here, volunteering with the team and would definitely happily come back! Thanks for a great introduction to Worldpacker volunteering :)

I had an amazing time at the hostel McCools and would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing and very cosy environment. The location is perfect, with really nice coastal walks and it's relatively easy to get around by bus. Andre and Jacey were great hosts, very welcoming and accommodating with anything you need!

I had an amazing time in the hostel! Andre and Jacey are amazing hosts who welcome me straight away. It is a perfect location with easy access bus routes around the coast of Northern Ireland for mini adventures. I had a great time and would love to come back!
