Tofino Hostel - Whalers Guesthouse

We are an award-winning, family-friendly, mid-size boutique hostel with guesthouse vibes in beautiful Tofino - on the Westcoast of Canada. We focus on providing a family oriented and laid back environment where guests can relax and meet fellow travelers from Canada and all around the world. Our hostel is the perfect spot for exploring the Tofino/ Clayoquot Sound area. We are located on the water right in downtown Tofino with breath-taking (one million dollar!) views of Clayoquot Sound and the 5,000-year-old village of Opitsat, a community of the Tla-o-qui-aht people and Nuu-chah-nulth nation. We also take great pride in providing a green friendly guesthouse/hostel - we recycle, compost and strive to use sustainable cleaning products whenever possible.

We are a small, family-like team from all around the world (all in our mid-twenties to mid/end thirties). We are NOT (!) a party place. We are the perfect spot to meet people interested in the outdoors, nature, culture and all the beautiful things Tofino and this part of Vancouver Island has to offer. We are looking for friendly, mature and respectful volunteers to join us here in Tofino.
