Semillas Life
It is very important for us to find different ways to promote the development and progress of the less privileged communities in the Peruvian Amazon. We focus on education, environment, ecotourism, public health and cultural exchange.
We believe that working together with these communities in developing different skills for its people and creating new job opportunities, not only will help to reduce poverty but to reduce activities that are destroying the Amazon Rainforest such as, illegal logging or illegal/legal gold mining with strong contaminating chemicals.
Protecting the Amazon should be a global commitment because of its incalculable biological and ecological value.
I, Christian Navarro, am the founder and CEO of the NGO Semillas Life. I currently live in Germany but work full-time for Semillas Life. After 5 years living in the Peruvian Amazon, I decided to move to Germany with my Peruvian/German family.
I am in charge of recruiting new volunteers, creating new projects, connecting with other organizations, and more.
However, Semillas Life is a team made up of Anne Pönisch, Dora Anco, Hans Gstir, Angelo De Los Santos, Erik Del Aguila, Mirco Espinoza and other collaborators. volu. This team works in Peru with our international volunteers to provide them with an excellent experience during their stay with us.
