We recently have renewed and restarted this page since more backpackers have been coming back to Tokyo and I have been getting more requests about this program "FREE ACCOMMODATION" since this year 2023.

We are located in Asakusa, one of the most friendly, international and historic neighborhoods in Tokyo. It's only 10 minutes walk from Asakusa station. Asakusa station provides direct access to both Ginza Line and Asakusa Line. Moreover, the Tokyo Skytree is located within 17 minutes walking distance.

I can only recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in Tokyo. The tasks are more than fair, and the accommodation is the best I’ve seen so far — you get your own little space with a chair, desk, and storage. Once a month, there’s a cooking event with the entire team, and between those, there’s plenty of time to socialize with your fellow volunteers or others staying at the share house.
I enjoyed it so much that I’ll be back in October.

I loved my experience at Nomadshare! the tasks were easy and fair, and the staff was super kind and always willing to help 😊
It’s great to have a space with privacy, and there are plenty of chances to meet people and make friends, both volunteers and travelers. I would definitely come back!

The perfect place for exploring Tokyo and meeting amazing people from all over the world.
The Japanese staff is super nice and welcoming from the start. They even organize food parties once a month for everyone, which were super fun. The work is easy and fair and you have plenty of time to explore the city in the afternoons and your days off.
It's also great that you have your own small room where you have a table and can store your things.
I really really enjoyed my time at Nomad and I would recommend it to anyone.
It's like a second home that I already miss.

Nomadshare really feels like a second home! To start with, the staff is super sweet and nice, and always checking in to see how you’re doing <3 And the work’s pretty fair and well organized, from 10 to 1pm, leaving your afternoons totally free! Plus, you get to pick your days off each month to plan little trips!
You will stay in Annex and have a private room with a desk and wall bed, and in the common area you can cook your food or chill and make friends with both guests and volunteers!
It has been a wonderful stay and I will 100% recommend this place to everyone! Thank you!
