I spent almost a month and a half at Komae house, and it was a great experience. The work is simple and doesn’t take much time, which gives you plenty of free hours each day. The owner, Hide, is incredibly kind and welcoming — thank you for all the wonderful moments we shared! The location is perfect: peaceful, yet close to the city’s main attractions. Volunteering here is a great way to enjoy your own time, explore Tokyo, and connect with amazing people — both fellow volunteers and guests. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. Thanks!

This was my first worldpackers experience and was the best 3 months of my life! All of the volunteers are super friendly and we did lots of trips as a group. Kaz was an amazing host and very caring towards us!
The work is very reasonable and can usually be done anytime of the day so i had a lot of time to explore tokyo! :)
