Gili Castle Hostel
You will be living in a tropical paradise! We have great staff, a wonderful pool, jumping platform, cold bintang beer and the opportunity to make new friends. We have a rock climbing wall next to the pool. Be the life of the party here and help our guests feel at home.
Our management team and staff are very kind and caring people. All of our volunteers feel like part of our family here. We provide you with accommodation and breakfast during your stay plus time off. The schedule varies depending on the day and what events we have going on.

I’ve been backpacking for a long time and volunteered in many places and I can tell this place is one of my favorites! At the beginning I was supposed to stay 4 weeks and I ended up staying 7 weeks! The team was amazing, crazy moments, party, diving, snorkeling, friends and tons of amazing moments!! Thanks to Jess and Elin, they will always make everything for you to feel good.
If you like party, bring your best energy, vibe and just enjoy! Thanks for all!!

gili castle was the most insane volunteer experience! the local staff and other reps while i visited were incredible and i loved every second. i loved the party and i adored meeting so many incredible guests that came through the hostel. i extended for as long as i possibly could and i know i will be back. Elin and Jess i adore you both, i instantly felt welcomed, comfortable and safe, if i ever needed any support or help with anything i knew i could rely on you xoxo i miss everyone already!

I had the best time at Gili Castle Hostel and on Gili T. If you’re thinking about volunteering, you should definitely do it here. You grow together like a little family. With everyone on the team, you build such a warm and appreciative connection, which makes the experience unforgettable. The hours you “work” honestly feel more like free time, and the job is highly recommended. I’m sad to leave because this island really gives you the feeling that you never want to go. The parties are so much fun, and you get to connect with everyone!
